how olds the battery? sounds like the extra power of the fog lights is too much and thus causing the alarm to beep the horn? or i could be totally wrong!

Can i just clarify please there are two connectors for the battery on positive one negative i imagine the one with the relays connects to the positive clamp of the battery and the other one connects to the negative side of the battery?

Happened on mine just driving at slow speeds abs would kick in by itself and light would flash on and off and got an electrical buzz in the cabin as it was kicking in. Took mine to garage hooked up to vag-com needed front abs sensor, rear abs sensor. So more than likely a sensor has gone. But find a garage with vag-com and get it hooked up to avoid any speculation that it could be this or that. Good luck

Samcos arnt they much tougher than standard pipes maybe thats why it came loose maybe worth getting a new spring clip as said above they are more secure than a jubilee!

^^^Maybe they can but they are far far better than struggling with those crappey standard spring clips. Maybe you havnt tightened it enough mate.

Right all sorted now Full vw 20k service done with inspection, Off side front and off side rear abs sensor replaced, pick up ring, wishbones replaced and sump gasket replaced! Is as it should be now drives fantastic :D :D
