Just thought I would warn people of this car. It was mine for a while but I sold it too my brother who traded it in for a Impreza Turbo at Town & County Aberdeen. It is a white G60 and should have a set of BBS RA's on it. It was a bag o s**** when sold so dont even consider looking at it. It would need a lot of money to get right. This was in August/September but I just really dont want anybody to waste thier time on it. By the way it was ok when I sold it too my brother.

They look like dealer option Ronals to me. Not too common and I dont think they were offered on the Corrado.

I used to have an 8v as well and it was probably the most dissapointing car I have ever owned. I think its for sale (shock) at a garage in Kircaldy right now. Mreg and Green in colour. Great to look at but my disabled sister could run fatser!!

So the first dead animal he meets lying on the road is going to smash his bumper and wreck the intercooler.

Christ man you will have to paint that front bumper every year due to stone chips!!

They fit but they will not work. I did this and the front would not sit as low as the back. These were Eibach springs. I bought some 8v ones and the car sat level. Apparantley this happens a lot.

TEC in Germany built a supercharged 4WD VR6 about 4-5 years ago from memory. It was in the 3rd or 4th edition of PVW.

I think the later Mk3s are better as I have heard that the Mk4 have a bigger piston therefore are a little more powerful. You dont want the back locking up to early you see.

Dont think you will get much better than AMD chips. As mentioned StarPerformance are AMD's scottish outlet. Are you planning other mods as it is worthwhile putting an exhaust and free flow filter in as well. When I got my 8v Corrado done at Star they put it on the rolling road before and after to get a comparison. This was included in the price of approximately £200. Just out of interest it was running bang on VW claims before and I saw an 8bhp increase with around 10lb/ft increase. This was with a filter change as well.

I have always been told that NGK were the preferred option. Dont think it really matters if you use the normal ones.

Has the northern contingent sorted out what time they are heading down?

The car has to be soooo loud with the bike can on it!!

Just drill your airbox on the wing side if you are going for a nice subtle noise. I found that an induction kit also made the car feel a bit worse. It was like a switch as well i.e. as soon as you are off the throttle there was no noise. I drilled the airbox on my VR and it gave it a nice note without being in your face.

What about these "pills" that you add to fuel tank?

I think people started to fit them when they heard that 4Star fuel was to be discontinued. It is 98RON. Unleaded fuel is 95RON. Therefore the engine had to be adjusted for this. Lead is a natural lubricant therefore unleaded is actually bad for your engine. Valve seats etc errode quicker. Unleaded alo contains more Benzine which is carconogenic so all this bable about it being better is a bit iffy. I think that you can just use Shell Optimax as this is 98RON therby saving the price of fitting a Kstar. Anybody back this up or am I just havering?

Cool. Defo gonna get another one as soon as I can sell my Golf VR. Have to admit that I also liked the fact that some people dont know much about them and they are no too common. Fave one has to be the either silver turbo VR in the Dec Golf or the black/purple turbo G60 in April PVW. More about what the car can do than pose value.

Ladies & gents. Just wondering why you chose the Corrado and what did you have before? Whats the best bit? Are G60's as bad on reliability as everybody suggests? Quite a lot but should generate some response, please!
