  1. Hi Is it possible to fit one of the standard Mini superchargers to a G60 engine (with all the required bracketry) in a 'bolt on' fashion - then drive away - if you managed to get a pully that made roughly the same PSI as the standard G Lader? I suspect not as everyone would have one as they're cheaper than a pair of Nike Air Max....
  2. Excellent - I think the standard £80 transfer fee should cover it ? ;)
  3. oh and you'll need to give me your numberplate as my name is Huw :)
  4. Oh not sure. I know the rears were 18's and 10" wide - it was a relativley normal width tyre and he made it look easy when putting it on - no drama and was on the rim in 3 minutes.
  5. Ive had 3 rado's in the past (well one was the GF;s) and its the one car I keep thinking of going back to.I've had a polo40, lupo TDI, Beemer 7 series, Jag XJ8 Sport, Rado VR6, 16V and a Bahn Brennered one, golf Cab and am currently driving a Lexoid is200... but the lure if the Rado has pretty much taken hold now. How else do I explain i want to swap my electric & alcantra heated, sat-naved, V reg car for a 1992 G plate G60 with 170k on it! The rado will always be my first automotive love.
  6. Just dug out some stretch that Gareth fitted to my old golf - so he is the man for the job:
  7. Hi mate if you want stretched tyres fitted get to Llantrisant - http://www.euro-performance.co.uk/ Gareth will fit them for you no worries. And i'll take this opportunity to shamelessly post pics of he car built by scruffy and owned by me for a bit :)
  8. Hi, sorry to jump on the bandwagon, but my Ex has just told me hers has failed again, can you pm me the cost of getting one drivers door side replacement bit please mate, I need to get her one as she's climbing in through the passenger door
  9. I've been out in the car that that engine came from and it was very quick. Very quick indeed.
  10. Righto chaps, so its in the back here? Im sure there was nothing there, and I suspect that I have the MK2 setup as its an early Rado, so I think its possible different on here Also there wern't any screws in this area (second pic) at all viewing from the back, but there may well have been something up by the clocks I didnt check
  11. Right Waynos I was thinking Id have to take everything off, bollocks :( I paid £11.47 including VAT in GSF. She's using the new switch to start the car at the moment and it seems to be OK, fingers crossed.
  12. yeah ive read those, but theres no screw hole visible from the bottom, its all solid metal underneath there, (second pic down) im totally puzzled. i've had the seat out and got right under there but cant see how its staying in
  13. The girlfriend's ignition switch on her G reg corrado valver has given up the ghost.I bought one from GSF today. My only issue is there appears to be no screw visible anywhere for me to undo to remove the old switch. any ideas? Currently running the new switch, just got it zip ties below the knackered one, starting the car with a screwdriver.. classy :)
  14. I see you had the optional Snow Resistant Paint, that must have set you back a few quid :) Just think, they'll be around £3500 one day and some kids are going to be modding the hell out of them an putting rubbish wheels on em. shame really.
  15. thats exactly what ive got mate. No water in footwells, and only loosing a small amount of coolant. I noticed a strange 'warm watery' smell when I started my fan blowing, and sure enough it started to steam my windows up. I'll bravely take my car apart tonight or tomorrow and get the pics up for my intrepid followers :D
