  1. ok mate, yeh try new leads and while your there change the rotor in the distributor cap, that can wear/burn out...check the dizzy for cracks too... and a general good tune, let us know how u get on mate. bob
  2. hello, hoenet alarms lock the car while running for safety reasons...including child lock and prevent car jacking. but your answer, when in the car on your alarm fob, simple press open (when the can is running) and the car will remain open...then of course press locking on fob to lock...... you can even silence the siren by pressing the AUX button then open.... All this info depends on what model you have mate. hope this helps, merry xmas bob
  3. yes i see it too........strange

  5. i might fit, i think the change over the the new type were 92.......and depends on engine aswell....
  6. hmm, sounds like the ISV, but i may be wrong i got this problem at the moment with mine, but ive changed all the fueling side, so im putting it down to needing a good setup as i know my CO is way off.....so taking it down stealth. i would recommend a tune mate........and change them god damn plugs!!!! ;) lol happy xmas
  7. Dam you no your stuff thank you very much i will give that a go! Think i can manage that! Not 2 good under the bonnet!lol any problems let me know,or i can do a write up (step up step) Your a star! I aint had time to have a look yet! Hope it aiint to hard to do :( i wouldnt go that far......but hey ive been called worsed lol....its easy and straight forward......hardest bit is getting the four hex bolts of the throttle body....take ur time, these round off....then you need a chisel and hammer....bitch of a job!
  8. I got the tops already in black and the complete fronts just thought I'd try and see what it looks like. If you bang it all on the bay am sure you'll get good money but sure you would have no probs selling on here too. you mean you've re-trimmed the fronts? or left them black? the spare complete trim ive got is black and in very good nick....i dnt know if i should strip them down.....it might go tits up and end up scraping them........then again it owes me nothing.
  9. Dam you no your stuff thank you very much i will give that a go! Think i can manage that! Not 2 good under the bonnet!lol any problems let me know,or i can do a write up (step up step)
  10. couldnt you do the whole rear panel instead of half? ......i might do all cards, pillers and rooflining when im bored and then ebay it....
  11. loving the pegs.......i used bulldog clip lol.....looks gud mate, well done.
  12. easy fix - its not the ISV mate, take the throttle body off and clean it out (brake cleaner) clean the butterfly carefully take your time. clean both inner and outer sides then use WD40 and work the butterfly so it moves freely. also WD40 the cable holder....work this also....then refit.....and it should fly...... i had the same problem with mine, soon as i cleaned it out.......it was like a rocket.....moving freely...you got to realize 17years of dirt, things will jam up. lets us know how you get on. bob
  13. WD40 the runners......firstly....
  14. common problem, it can be your resistor or the fan switch.......if you can wiggle it and it works then its the fan switch. ......if it doesn't most like resistor...........if its dead all together..........get all including a motor ;)
  15. general there's only two different types.........1. small 2. bigger.....i think most early ones came with a smaller spline, i think yours is bigger as its mark 3 style. ......at the moment my early corrado have a bigger sleeve on it (dont know) but with the right tool this can be pulled off to fit a smaller spline. might even might be the case with yours......take you wheel off and have a look. bob
  16. wow, if only my mark1 was that quick..........
  17. hey, this looks gud, leatherette does stretch when you apply heat.....but i suggest you try a piece out first so you get the hang of it, too much heat melts or stretch wrong leaving marks. Tips. 1. Leave plenty material(underside) around the pillar. 2. Glue one side down 3. Using heat gun/hair dryer (dryer takes longer) 4. Gentle heat both material (underside) and pillar, 5. Apply glue, keep the material(top side) and pillar warm/hot 6. Stretch glue down, still applying keep heat 7. Mould into shape takes time, oh forgot to say, when gluing the material to the underside, keep plenty material or it will just cool down and pull around. all the best, get some pics up. bob
