Oh no!
hope you get your car sorted mate
-
mine was made pre aug 1st 92 so i'm ok with a decat, the chip was on it when i got the car
-
i hope mine will get 146 on the rollers!! it's got a bit more than you though i think so anywhere near yours for me will be awesomeI was very suprised when I got that number on the rollers tho. But I'm shore you will get more than me as I havent realy done much to it.
differences from mine to yours are, k&n, ecu chip, and i think thats about it but when i finally get on rollers it will have a new 4-1 manifold/downpipe into a powerflow (which i hate) and also a decat so we'll see!

its missing focus st stripes, then the work would be complete

my mum says it looks like a car off robot wars... hahaha

its interesting the lack of the pictures on the ad also, e.g. how he did a close up of the rear wheel and not the front (which would normally be more impressive as they are bigger IMO), could just be nothing but small things i pick up on...

replacing rear axle bushes
in Drivetrain
Posted
I've been quoted £120 for this which i think is really cheap, and thats with the guy supplying bushes (which i don't want him to do); but even though, i'm trying to learn as much as i can with this car so i'm thinking about taking on the job myself.
I've looked at some posts of people replacing their bushes, taking the axle off etc and just wondered how much skill is exactly required to do this; i've only been tinkering since about september so just wondered, is it to big a job???
i think i've got the tools, no ramp, but a jack and two axle stands; the problem that phases me the most is the alignment upon taking it off and putting it back on, and putting the new bushes in.
If anyone could give me a concise list of what you need that would be great!
Thanks!
Ian
