  1. vince silly question may be asked here but will this still work with a supercharged vr6 runnning about 400 bhp as im have a wee bit of trouble getting of the line .... have treid everything and have been looking at these if the last few weeks ...

    cheers tony

Yes it will work with your supercharged car no problem.

As mentioned before if anyone wants to see the system in action then all you need to do is pay me a visit :D

Try before you buy if you like :)

  2. once its programmed is that it then? not up for constantly messing about with one tbh

Once it's programmed that's it, no more messing around.

You can save the settings to your PC so if by somehow the settings get messed up or lost you just can upload them again. Although I have never seen this before.

The adjustments you can make are the percentage of wheel spin allowed, in my case in dry weather I set it to 20% slip, I find this the best setup, in wet weather you just reduce as required. It's so simple.

If you want a demo just come along and pay me a visit... have a test drive

  3. Whats the difference with option two and three? Is two only adjustable when stationary?

This the adjuster you get with RLTC6A & RLTC6AL (Launch button non functional with RLTC6A)

This is the Digital display / adjuster you get with RLTC6DIA

All systems adjustable whilst on the move

  4. and exactly exactly is

4:TCCLUSHIFT - Full Throttle Gear Shifting

    mort

Full throttle shift kit consists of clutch pedal switch + wiring, as the clutch goes in the switch activates and brings in a preset rev limiter allowing gear change without lifting throttle.

It then deactivates to resume normal rpm limit on clutch engagement.

  5. As some of you have a expressed an interest in the Racelogic Traction Control System I have put together some prices for you all.

2: RLTC6AL-Traction control + Launch Control (In Car wheel Slip adjuster + Launch activation)

3: RLTC6DIA-Traction Control + Launch Control ( In car Digital Display Adjuster)

4:TCCLUSHIFT - Full Throttle Gear Shifting

Any Questions - please let me know

  6. Vince - the kit looks very good and I'm impressed with your info and approach. Would adding the kit to a MkII Golf Vr6 conversion be any trickier? It's not my own work so I can' tell you the exact details of the conversion... it was a TSR job (sorry.... before I owned it...)

Yes I am sure it can with maybe a few minor alterations.

  7. Hi all,

We can now offer these as a refurbished part (due to VW making them obsolete) they are fully tested and come with a 12 month guarantee.

Send us your sensor and we will repair it and pop it back in the post to you the same day.

Refurb price is £49.95 inc vat and postage.

    Thanks

    DG Autotech

Very Good! Well Done Guys :D

  8. Hi Vince,

I've got one of these sensors, as new, fitted for a day on my OBD1 Golf VR6 then taken off, turned out my problem was not this sensor. I've since fitted the ABS system off an OBD2 Golf, which does not use this sensor.

It's yours FOC if you want it, let me know and I'll pop it in the post?

    Cheers,

    Kong

That would be great, at least if I have a working one then one solution would be to get it cloned..

I am quite happy to cover any costs.. send me an email [email protected]

  9.

yep i totally agree with this mymate had a E30 320 and a 325i and never had any problems getting parts for it VW are just ass holes!!! :censored:

You have just given me an idea! ATE make brakes for a lot of manufactures, I wonder if the same part can be found on 1990>1995 BMW's, Mercs etc..?

Like you say maybe we can get better support from them...

Could be another route to investigate.... I know a guy who is into BMW's, I will ask the question.

It's times like this VW don't deserve the loyalty they get. Especially on safety related items

  10. Could they not be fixed as opposed to being replaced? I reckon they are probably just a potentiometer inside no?

    Has anyone taken one apart?

Yes maybe, who volunteers to take theirs out and have a look.... If you do don't break it :D

Or if anyone has an old one kicking about, Kev maybe? send it to me and i will have a look

I must have chucked away at leat 5 old ones last year :(

  11. Spoke to the local guy here and he said you can still get them as part of the servo itself when you order a new one of those, only £358.........

It's an alternative but not acceptable in my opinion, VW claim (and proved) that their build quality is better than most other manufacturers.

Their cars do last a long time as we all know. Now the buggers don't want them to last that long. So what exactly do we pay for when we buy a new vw?

  12. Hi Jim

Yea I get TPS to check dialog, they said maybe VW St Albans and VW Bath may have one, I called them both but thay said they sold em....

Maybe if we can get enough people together to order one It may be worth me trying to contact ATE direct, a group buy as such.

    Could be worth investigating?

ABS Light on = MOT Failure, we need a solution for this

  13. ABS Pedal distance sensor now obsolete! :bad-words:

I can't believe it, it also fits Golfs, passats and 2 other Seat models that I know of.

I have tried everywhere including putting in an official complaint to VW customer care (who don't care).

Anyone know where i can get one? (NEW)

    Cheers

    Vince

  14. Steam through the vents is almost definitely heater matrix leaking.......

This can be very dangerous in 2 ways,

1: Driver / passenger feet can get covered in boiling hot water.

2: Instant heavy misting of the winscreen, incredibly dangerous at any speed.

Oil In water tank will be caused by internal leak in your heat exchanger (oil cooler).

I have never seen a headgasket cause oil and water mix on 16V's,

always the oil cooler, so start with that and the heater matrix first.

  15. Coming back regularly to check whats happening on this forum is probably one of the worst mistakes I have ever made!!!

There was a time when I wasnt visiting as often for whatever reason(s), and I was happy with what i had because I knew no better.

Now I come back and there is this available, and that available, and this WITH that available and I want it ALL!!!

DAMN YOU LOT! DAMN YOU ALL!!!!

Nadeem.... OMG you bought a Nissan :epicfail:

The pic of you in your avatar, is that what you wear when you drive it

Sorry mate could not resist :)

    Hope you are doing well?
