  1. This morning i was at the shell filling up and an older guy in the que turned around and pointed at the G60 and asked it it was mine , he then proceded to shower the car in complements saying how nice they look and sound, saying "its amazing that they stoped making them so long ago but they still look so modern" he asked if i have done the work on it myself to which i replied "yeah" and he said "keep it up youve got a lovely motor there" great start to the day.........
  2. i would get your charger off and away for an inspection sooner rather than later esp with the oil in the return pipes....(also i wouldnt take the MFA boost reading as gospel as it not really that accurate, just get a boost gauge and reading from you inlet manifold) in regards to the stage 4 charger you will see a big difference in how fast the G-ladder builds boost and obviously quicker power delivery as compared to a standard unit no idea how much power (BHP) you should expect..... but the car will feel allot better with a fresh stage 4 charger (its what i went for and its great) i would send it To John Mitchell Racing (JMR) excelent customer service and very good rep on here.....
  3. why ? do VW hate G60's or somthing ? i know you can get them elsewhere and will be able to for years but come on......what will be next?

    Down on power

yea as above might be worth checking the drive belt length ......... as when i brought mine is had a 70 mm pully if i remember which is a bit smaller than stock which is 78mm i think but it was running the standard belt size so loads of belt slip when i fitted the 68mm pully and drive belt to match it felt much more punchy has your charger been ported atall ? do you have the RSR charger outlet ?(this replaces the chunky black plastic thing on the right side of the G60) G-Werks sell BBM ones but when i last spoke to them they were on backorder(you could order one from BBM in the states), Bar-tek also sell their own RSR which is cheaper than the BBM

    Down on power

do you know the full spec of your car eg zorst chip pully ?? 160 will be right on the money for a standard car with standard pully and charger not flowed .................also G60's have good and bad days
  9. Today i have treated her to a full tank of V-power an oil change + Vw Filter new distributor cap + Rotor arm new Bosche G40 Plugs cleaned and re oiled the K&N pannel flushed the power steering fluid then new vw steering fluid in fitted some new smoked ride repeaters a good old scrub in the engine bay and cleaned up the exhaust system with autosol metal polish hoovered and cleaned inside cleaned up the bodywork and give her a nice layer of blue velvet dodo juice wax if you can beleive it the G60 has been behaving itself of late so she deserved a bit of attention
  10. i know you havnt had it too long but how have you found the idle speed with the kent cam?i hear they can be a right dog at low speeds? (im thinking of a cam myself)
  11. jesus christ Redfox thats imaculate....... wish mine was to such a good standard
  12. very nice G60 mate looks like a good buy with a nice spec also
  13. As nice as it would be to have a very minty fresh set of these, once youve got centre caps and then some decent rubber all round your talking around £1200 and not to put the wheels down but you could get a much nicer set of BBS RM's or RS's for that kinda cash.........and they wont loose their money like this set will
  14. Just spotted this on the bay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CORRADO-G60-SET-4-BBS-ALLOYS-191601025AE-GENUINE-NEW-/350493906160?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Trims_Car_Rims_ET&hash=item519b1094f0 seems a little on the steep side.........although getting a knackered set is becoming harder just noticed this doesnt inc centre caps.......
  15. got a full scorpion stainless from quicky on here cheers for the offers though cheers (please lock)
  16. since buying mine last october from ive spent just under 3K (that does inc a new stage 4 charger though)and i would do it all again and probably will lol
  17. well i was recently on the hunt for one and really it all depends on charger history (some people just wont consider it without paperwork) also if its been ported and how maney miles are on it. but for a good charger with history ect around the £500-700 depending how many are on sale (they are getting pretty rare though)
  18. i know that the uk gallon is slightly bigger ? but we must be paying about 10 dollars a gallon over here......... must be very hard to find a corrado in the states let alone local to where you are ? did you have to travel far to get it? how much did you pay ? if you dont mind me asking
  19. as above http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vw-Corrado-90mm-Front-Spoiler-/250889140533?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a6a287935 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/250889125835?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 cheers
  20. great choice in car. i can remember trying to convince my rents that a Rado VR6 was a good first car at 18.......strangely they didnt agree? "still doesnt save me from the gas prices though haha" lol we pay 1.47.9 GBP PER litre over here for 99 ron V-Power, what's you fuel prices like?
