    Extra MFA info.

This would appear to be the case with mine. Only shows 3 settings in MFA 1 and 2. I'll have another play and see what the numbers relate to. Thanks
  2. Mine are also out but I'll be taking the whole lot off this weekend to fix the oh-so-popular stuck heater controls so I'll put a post up on how I get on. I'm sure someone will let us know before that though!! :)

    Extra MFA info.

Thanks vr6storm. I have got servicing on the brain at the mo.
  4. Oh, and anyone with any recommendations for places to buy/fit in the Hatfield,Herts or Walton, Surrey areas?
  5. Easy way to find out is to open the sunroof (and windows if you want to test them too), lock the door with the key, hold it in the locking position and see if the sunroof closes (as it should). This is effectively what the extended locking pulse is doing. 8)

    Extra MFA info.

Just going through some of the paperwork I got with my VR6 last week. I have a plain printed sheet which talks about extra readings from the MFA. holding the MFA button and turning the ignition on, then off then on again displays the other info. The sheet of paper doesn't explain what the readings are (just seems to be temp readings and 0.0 where the MPG normally is) and the trip just counts the functions. Doesn't seem very 'Extra' to me. :?: Does anyone have any more info on what it's trying to tell me?
  7. Hmm just seen another post that someone regularly does a 300 mile round trip to see Vince at Stealth. Makes me feel a bit slack. I used to own a V8 Westfield (which was THAT quick) and used to take a day off to get it serviced at the factory. I had hoped that buying a more mainsteam (I know that'll get some posts) car might enable me to avoid that sort of thing. Are the stealerships really OTT expensive or are they just (in general maybe) not as enthusiastic about corrados as we'd all like them to be?
  8. Yep - they look like they know what they're doing. Thanks for the reply, however my definition of 'near Hatfield, Herts' doesn't quite stretch 70 miles. The VR6 is quick but not THAT quick. Just needs a service for now. Around South London/Surrey is also a possibility.
  9. Does anyone have any experience of garages near Hatfield, Herts? I work there and it would be easier to drop off/pickup etc. Prefer somewhere that will do the VAG COM thang. Thanks in advance. :)

    WOT no Haynes?

I saw a one liner in the forum somewhere that implied there is no haynes manual for corrados. Eeek. Is this true? are there any other similar sort of books available? from the US perhaps? If this is true I'm even happier I've found "The Forum". :D :D Now the proud owner of a dark blue C VR6. (but needs some minor DIY repairs).
  11. I'm just down the road from Leatherhead. I'll send an email for more details on the place you use unless you want to post it here. From the pics of your car it looks like they do a decent job! Looks great with the rims and low profile rubber too.
  12. Hi My first post. Hopefully picking up a VR6 this week. Only thing wrong with it is slight bubbling on the nearside rear wheel arch. Any ideas on what I should expect to pay to get it rectified? Dark Blue. '94 L Plater. Any recommendations for repair shops in South London/Surrey Area? Also has a heater control problem that I've read about elsewhere on th forum so no biggy with that (just more ammo to haggle the price down!) I've found this forum an excellent resource whilst looking for a Corrado. Thanks :D Cheers Bolster
