Hey The car does have an oil leek so need to replace the oil filter housing, I have spent the day looking on websites n calling people and have managed to find one for £50 + postage which is alot better that the 90+VAT I was quoted. The part numbers match but the part is advertised as an oil filter bracket, is this the same part? Since leaving the car with the mechanic, the ABS light has come on also?? Stella x

Cheers OSV, thank god for that, I have been zooming about in it today which is fantastic, I am so glad I finally got one!!! Did see another Corrado today with one back light out, was flashing n waving like a lunatic :) Car going back to garage on Friday to see about the other issues mentioned before, Just need to stop smoking so I can afford fuel!! Hey Thanks The rusty hole is at the front of the car :( I think i will be spending my summer holidays on here!!

Here are some pics, Oh and TCS are Dodgy as I do not believe the break load sensing valve could become that rusty and worn if it passed an MOT in June, I going to call and ask for some money back!!!!

Hey I have been to the garage this morning and the car is still on the ramp There are the following issues: I need a break load sensing valve A rear axel trailing arm front bush I have taken photos so will up load shortly Where is the best place to look for parts?

It is metalic pear Khaki green but does look different in certain lights, it's gorgeous and cant wait to pick it up tomorrow!!!!

hey Yeah after a long discussion on here I bit the bullet and purchased it off TCS, I only got it last Monday so only played about in it for a day, had it taken to my mates garage for a full service so hopefully all will be well. The colour swung it for me, it's lush! how is yours going?, I viewed mine at (Richards)house, he had two others out the back that looked cool too! x

Ha ha its the best looking car where I live!!! except for the red corrado I see now n again oh and the grey Mark 2 Golf up the road!!! Just want it back So I can go out in it!!

Hey car people I took MY LOVELY car for a service and had the cam belt fitted. There were only a few other small issues, (wheel bearings and oil filter housing) It was on the ramp so I had a good look underneath thinking I know nothing but did notce the front is quite rusted and has been repaired in places, what can be done to stop it getting worse? There is also grease all over brake cable that runs underneath, mechanic is going to remove it to see what lies beneath, theres rust there too!! Any suggestions or advice gladly recieved!! I read the article on oil and got confused so what oil do you put in when required? Many thanks Stella x

Hey The car has now been serviced with new cam belt fitted, YAY!! The car has the following issues: The car needs new wheel bearings in both back wheels, is it a cassette????????- How much should this cost? There seems to be also be a leak so having the oil filter housing changed - how much? A new exhaust mount is required too Stella

Haha no, I know a VW when i see one even if i was 15, it looked like a brown colour but i'm thinking it was the metalic pearl khaki colour as it looks green/brown/ grey in different lights I have been to see the car and it does look amazing, the bloke from TCS (Rich) said they boughti it june, tarted it up and just passing it on. He has sprayed some ****e inside to make it shiny, can that be removed as it looks toss!!, the car has a mountain of paper work which me and my friend sat and read through each bit. The car is twenty years old so I do expect to have to spend money on its up keep so I BOUGHT IT!!!! might have been a foolish mistake but I want it and at the end of the day I dont think i will loose money on it. It is booked in tomorrow for a cambelt and full service so i'll soon find out if it is a shed.
