  1. Well

I don't want it to be too high.

(Plus the suspension at the moment is a little bouncy)

Rollin arches sounds good but don't want it to modify the outside appearance

I'm being told different things from garages who have looked at it.

    Saying paint might crack!?!

    Arches will flare slightly?!

Has anyone rolled their arches at the rear and got any experiences?

  2. Hi guys!

Beautiful weather now for cruising in the C!

Only problem is my rear tyres are getting shredded by the arches catching the edge of tyres with normal driving with only me in the car (13stone)

They are 215/40/17 on the rear

    205/40/17 fronts

Fk coilovers fitted before me (over 6 yrs ago)

    Bbs Rs rims.

  3. Hi guys

Looking out the bedroom window today, looks like Corrado cruising weather!

Just fitted a new battery to the C.

And gave it a quick clean. Time to take it for a blast, would be even better to meet up with some fellow Corrado owners!!!

    Anyone in the West Midlands?

  4. Bought The Skoda Superb in the end, L&K 2.0 TDI DSG...

    One word.....

    SUPERB!!!

About 5k less than the Audi with more extras and better n smoother drive than the same price ranged Audi.

As the A6 has the multitronic gearbox.

Highly recommend a superb over the VW or Audi, drove approx. 4/5 different cars before driving the Skoda n purchasing it on the same day as was too much of a good deal!!!

  5. Hi guys

Just looking to part ex in my daily

It's between a 2010 Audi A6 S line Avant 2.0 TDI automatic or 2011 Skoda Superb Elegance 2.0 TDI automatic

The Audi has more miles and are between 14k - 18k

The Skoda has less than 60k miles and between 13k - 15k

Any experiences would be very helpful!!!

  6. I didnt want to mess with them but 2 of the dishes have got water corrosion around the valves and ruins the perfection of the rest of the wheel, and I can't be dealing with that for much longer... :(

I am a sucker for polished lips, just can't make the decision on steel or aluminium?

Will the steel be much heavier and if it's only the back two.

Will that help with keeping her grounded around Islands etc? When she's excited???

  7. Stainless would be less maintenance, aluminium would require regular re-polishing to keep them shiny.

In terms of which size to get, that depends on the existing size/offset of the wheels?

How often would they need re-polishing? I only do 2000 miles a year max.

Are they easy to re-polish and how?
