  1. Alarm bells would have rung with the arch roller guy when he laid the rs on the concrete and used it as a seat!!

I had my arches rolled on my old golf by stylehaus and no cracking or damage at all. Shame about yours though.

I wasn't there when they were getting rolled, my younger cousin was and he did ask if he could sit on them. My cousin said yeah. :bonk: :bonk:

This whole wheel progress has been going wrong.

Time to get the stainless dishes off and use them in the kitchen or in the park as a frisbee!

Get the original dish repaired by a professional and back on the car!

  2. Looking Fresh!, shame about the paint cracking on the archs did they not warn you about it before they started? just be aware cracked paint is a recipe for rust, Flex polisher !! they aint value village. fairly comfy and light ? i use a cheap rotary but its weight makes it nasty to use..

Very comfy to use and light too.

I have a cleanyourcar one too! That's ok, but nowhere near as good or comfortable or quiet as the flex.

They did warn me, but now I have an excuse to do some touch up work around the car.

  3. the current state of UK roads is awful. completely unacceptable in may cases

not only do they leave potholes to get bigger but they dont repair them properly & the hole is back within days of being 'fixed', thus making things like this happen.......& then when they do re-lay a road they have the audacity to simply throw wet tar down & then gravel on top of it, is it any wonder my bonnet looks like the night sky with god damn stone chips....grrrrrr

Roads are disgraceful, This is why I cant enjoy the car all year round.

I have to become a weatherman every time I want to take her out...

  4. Yes, Goldfinger, 3 piece split rims, RS 301's.

So I went down the new dish route, from Dave (JustMatz now Torque Partz)

  5. We noticed a restriction in power, checked under the hood and spotted a damaged intake hose.

New one ordered and fitted. Put the car on the Rolling road before and after.

    Before: 187.5 BHP

    After: 199.3 BHP

    Bring on the CAMS...:p

  6. Next was to get in on that schimmel cams group buy and get some ARB's fitted as the ride was very shifty on dual carriageways and roundabouts.

I had the Eibach's fitted which made a difference but not perfect, I think it must be the FK suspension.

Need to upgrade to something better and more adjustable, maybe some KW V2's? or Koni/H&R...

    Too many choices!!!

  7. I was very lucky enough to get my hands on some amazing BBS RS 301's from a special dude on here!!!

and a new private plate hopefully for the future of this car!

The pics below were taken at GTI International 2013

  8. After realising the brakes were useless, and much reading on here and advice, I went for the 312mm brake upgrade.

While doing this, also removed the rear wiper and fitted a new gearbox mount and changed the rear clusters to red and more red!

  9. My stupid iPad is broke and doesn't switch on, So Ive lost many good photos on the progress of the Rado.

So I'll write up most and add pictures later.

After ownership, first thing was to get a Full service inc. fuel filter change, 6 Platinum Spark Plugs (Audi TT apparently)

    Coolant change to G12+

    Brake Fluid change

    New Xenons Loom fitted
