Many thx indeed. The car has been through the MOT since my posting and the emissions are absolutely spot on so no adjustment necessary. The info you have posted will be kept for future reference. Phil.

I am giving my 2.0l 16v 9a a bit of tlc and wish to check the mA going through the fuel DPR. Do I need a multimeter with ac mA or dc? Thx.

Many thanks for your reply, I'll see if I can find him.

Hi
I am watching a c.s.v. on ebay at £25 posted so don't really want to go over this. If the distributor is good could you give me a price for both?
cheers.

Has anyone got a fuel lift pump for a 93 2.0l 16v 9a? Phil.
-
Hi, is fuel lift pump still available? Phil

As the age of your injectors is unknown would you accept £15? I don't need the lines, just the injectors....
-
Ok, I am going to try and run a cleaner through my injectors, the spray pattern could be better....if you have done this any recommendations on what to use?
-
MZpog, how old are your injectors?

I have done some research and have found suggestions that it is possible to adjust the injector delivery quantity from inside the metering head. Has anyone done this? I did an injector test recently and found the quantities to be slightly different, it would be nice to have them all the same. Any info would be much appreciated. The car is a 2.0l 16v with ke motronic bosch CIS.

Thanks for posting the pic, I guess things get modified with progress. My car is a 93 (L) and I have the throttle valve with the 'black box'
-
I can see where some confusion is coming in here. On my 93 2.0l 16v 9a with ke motronic the throttle valve (where the throttle cable attaches to) has a black box underneath which houses 2 switches, but some people refer to this as a potentiometer which it is not. The only potentiometer that I know of is on the side of the MAF (nearest to the wing) and this measures directly how far open the MAF is and feeds this info to the ecu.

**Update** I am not sure whether or not the change of TPS has improved things as I haven't covered enough miles yet. But I have noticed a rather interesting anomaly between speedo and mfa. Whilst doing a constant 60 mph on the speedo I reset mfa 2 and found that the average (mfa 2 MPH) was only showing 56 . I believe the speedo and mfa are both driven from the electronic sender on the gearbox, what on earth is going on . So it's possible the mfa is computing a fuel used over a shorter (than actual) distance, hence a worse mpg (than actual).

TPS has been changed but the car won't be on the road for a week or so due to other work. I will update this thread when I can...
