  1. Glad you got back safe. Shame I didn't get to meet you in person, all the best with her mate. I'll be looking for your build thread
  2. Heritage have one listed http://www.vwheritage.com/vw_spares_Badge-VW-Roundel-Chrome-Corrado-89-95-357853601_act_shop.product_pID_122340045_lang_EN_country_GB.htm but no stock The part number on there is 357853601, but that doesn't bring up an exact match from Classic parts http://www.vwheritage.com/vw_act_vwclassicParts.search.htm?classicSearchText=357853601 It changes to 357853601B041 , which I think is a black badge?
  3. It's the black cable going to the arm with teeth on it (in the last picture) that is stiff
  4. Two of the cables seem to move fine, make a solid noise at each end of their travel but one is a bit sticky but I'm not sure if it's the cable or something else. The cable moves okay, just needs more effort, but if you move the arm manually it still doesn't seem to move right. This one Just need to find out what else the issue might be
  5. Passenger side came out just as easy, another half a dozen screws
  6. Random piece of cloth stuck behind the dash???
  7. You can see the cables actually go round to the passenger side
  8. Had a quick look at the bowden cables on the heater control today. I wasn't looking forward to it but it's not too bad so far. The cables look like they go down the drivers side The tray under the dash came out nice and easy, the fuse box cover was already off, half a dozen screws and the rest came out in one piece
  9. Got my stereo lead (eBay again), once I've sorted the heater and put the dash back in I can get the head unit fitted. I have just noticed I've been a bit dense though, this head unit doeasn't have multi-changer control :bonk:
  10. Two of the cables move nicely and you get a good 'thunk' noise at each end of their travel, but one is a bit 'stickier'. It moves but needs a lot more effort. It doesn't appear to be the cable but I'm not sure where else to start looking. This one Any ideas please?
  11. Cheers mate. Too out the under dash covers, started on the drivers side as that is the way the cables lead from behind the heater control Only to find they go round the back to the passenger side
  12. There is a CD changer already in the boot and I have another one lurking in the garage. I don't think either were availabe as an option so not sure which one to use yet.
