I'd rather pay £100 a second for Karmen Electra's time.... £300 should cover it :lol:Do you get the smell of burning rubber though
-
Just so you are sure of what you are getting. Apologies if you know this...The 'Corrado' ones are not the hard plain plastic runner as on later models but a thin plastic, so thin it comes rolled up.
Mine are the later rigid type. Are these held on by the same method?
-
Thanks people. I think I'll go for a new set. Damn the expense!
-
I used a heatgun and pulled them offAre they sticky and can they be put back on?
-
The C is going in for a full respray next month and I want to take of the outer plastic door sill protectors. Is this easy enough to do?
-
I'm glad you got it all sorted. I remember when I used to get two weeks off at easter!
-
Maybe your radiator is knackered? My VR struggles to get to the temp needle moving since I fitted a new one.
-
The sub out should go to the two channels powering your subs. If you are only running front components the rear output from the head unit will not be used.
-
you will need two. One for the sub and one for the front
-
Why are you putting new straps on? Are yours shot?
-
Quality write up. I wish this had been posted earlier as I've just paid for mine to be done.

I need to know if the Mk 4 Golf calipers which fit the Corrado are the same as on the Polo GTI (Mk5 6n2) my version of ETOS doesn't want to play so I would appreciate it if someone could check for me.
Thanks

Goldie has tried already and it won't work. PM your email address and I'll sent to you.
My seats are now working :D :D I have put the black and blue/black direct to the battery and I've got heat coming from my seats. The black is the live from the ignition, so it is switched, and the blue/ black is for the switch lighting. Just got to get them running from the fuse bow now.
-
So I have yet to find out exactly where the black wire goesThis is maybe the one that's hard-wired into accessory plug D.
It definately has a plug on the end. I can send you a pic if you want?
-
I have just ordered the two plugs which go into the fuse box from the Stealers at 60p each. So I have yet to find out exactly where the black wire goes. I'll let you know as soon as I've worked it out.VR6 South,On page 1 of the thread you mention the thick black wire. Just checked my loom and it has the same. Where did you wire that into?

Does nobody care then :(Only joking
Of course we all care  . Nice work!

Thats just greedy!!!!Yes but all good fun! The Polo is in Basingstoke at the moment having it's wounds sorted: new bumper, windscreen, bonnet, door, bumper and side trims plus an extensive amount of paint and some other bits that took a hit.
-
Bargain.... Is that 16 wheels for one car now???Only 12 and 8 for the Polo
-
BBS 15" split rims (RX2's) three with nearly new tyres all need a bit of polishing to the outer rim but for £80 I'm not complaining!
-
Recived the photos but cannot post them as they are Bitmaps and not Jpegs. Thanks for trying. Just been to the scrappies to get the elusive mssing plugs. Five VW's later and I can't find any to match! I did buy a set of alloys though :D
-
The plug from the blk wire is blk and the one for the blue/gray one is grey to keep the OE look.
-
No problem I'm in no rush due to the Polo being trashed! PM on the way
-
That you sorted then Martin??apologies by the way, i couldnt post the pics of that storm as the forum wouldnt recognice the format.........
Still no further but I think the problem has been solved having looked at the pics :D
Are you still up for tomorrow?
-
