Hi everyone i have been on the forum a couple of months now but it has only been in the last week or so that i have actually started on the G60 i bought from down near birmingham. The car has a 2.0 tsr tall block, big valve gasflowed head, schrick 285 cam and vernier pulley (piper),Bahn Brenner twin screw compressor, silencer kit and rigid intercooler piping, large oil cooler grey injectors jabba induction kit,tsr 4-1 manifold with powerflow system (soon to be replaced with a dubpower full exhaust this week hopefully).Suspension is taken care of with avo coilovers,17" TSW Venom not to everyone's taste but oldskool and not a mark on them although they wont be on for too long i have some 8x16 compomotive TH's in matt black which will go on as soon as the front hubs are changed to 5 stud and vr6 discs find there way on to the back.Inside it has the karmann black leather and a sony xplod install security is clifford and a cricket bat behind my front door.I have taken a couple of pictures tried to get a couple of under bonnet but car decided not to let me :bonk: thats another job for this weekend adjust bonnet release.Anyway here it is. Hello from Poland !!! VW Corrado G60 by DrAkE - fully rebuild project !!!
clumpy1 replied to DrAkE's topic in Members Gallery
Absolutely stunning mate never mind what anyone else says about your interior this is your car i know you asked the question but really are you honestly that bothered for the few that say "oh it's abit to much" or "alright if it's real carbon" there will be plenty that say "i wish it was mine".I am not saying what anyone else commented was wrong or just"jealousy" but the work that has obviously went into your car should be appreciated.I have not read through all the threads on the forum being quite a new member myself but yours is way ahead of the one's i have.Keep doing what you are doing that's what makes your car unique top man. -

If i can get mine looking half as good as that i will be a happy man at the moment i only use it on the odd occasion but am thinking of selling my fabia vrs to fund a gas conversion among other things as at the moment it likes drinking petrol best i have seen is just over 30mpg then i would use it as a daily. At the moment its running on old skool tsw venoms but i have some 8x16 compomotive th's matt black that i was going to put on fabia i will keep the venom's for the winter.Cant wait to get started. -

Hi jay my name is james i am a newbie on the forum having recently purchased a G60 ,i have had a look at the underside of my car and it is in good condition for age but was not so impressed with the back axle and front subframe.I am wanting to do the same as you have done i noticed you were using genuine vw parts were these purchased from vw or from another source and roughly how much did it cost you to do including powdercoating etc any help would be much appreciated by the way your car looks very nice you are an inspiration to others.
