Soo..my rado has coilovers, had them when i bought it..not amazing ones..g-maxx or something..only a couple of years old, but seized right up..the bottom ring can be undone relatively easily, but the top one won't budge..any ideas??

Hi guys, Getting the corrado's new shoes this weekend, a set of polished MIM 1900's..just looking for some advice on what to use to clean them. I'm quite an avid car cleaner and would hate for the wheels the get all oxidised and horrible..i will be getting a set of cheapy horrible wheels for winter as i don't want them ruined..but what advice for cleaning guys?? Thanks

Really want a badged grill, i have a de-badged one if anyone is interested in a swap? Or a set of inpro crystal rear lights. Or cash moneys..

Oh don't even talk about them clips!! The ones behind that you cant see were on the wrong way round, luckily a mate turned up then, so i handed it over to him haha..honestly couldn't see how you get it out without the dash out, im sure its very easy, i just looked and was like wow, looks awkward lol.

Well that was a truly lovely job to do. Went with taking the dash out, i have no idea how you even start to do it with the dash in? Took an age to get the hoses off in the engine bay due to the clips being literally upside down, but we got there eventually and all works well..s**t it a bit when i put the heaters on and it steamed the town out, but i let it carry on and it was fine :)

I know of people that have carried this out on other cars, wire tucked and smoothed bay, took him a solid week of work, 7 days and about 10 hour each day to get it looking good and professional..

Never thought of a black plinth really..but i may do that now :) Cant wait to get the wheels mate :) I agree about the rear lights too..looks 10 times better.

Hi guys :) Been a member on here for a week now, thought i'd start a thread about my 'rado :) Got her 2 weeks ago after biting the bullet and buying a car i've always wanted, and selling the golf that i loved lots.. That was the golf, bought standard put on coilovers and audi pepperpots, full heated leather aswel. I loved it, but wanted a corrado. My price range was only £1000, so i set about finded one, the first i looked at was disgusting, the bodywork was atrocious and it drove so badly. At this point i nearly doubted getting one for the price i had to spend as i thought they would all be rough. Then i found my one about 1 hour from me, went to have a look and apart from a rear arch it was lovely. Owned for 7 years by the same woman, 7 years history and receipts. A full respray in 2009 (all be it a cheap one) on coilovers and an alright set of wheels, a good base me thinks :) When i picked her up, she was VERY white as you can see, white EVERYTHING, it needed to go, so i got some BMW sparkling graphite i had laying around from the golf wheels and some black and did the wheels and the grill :) Looking so much better i think? Tried to lower it a bit more, but the coilovers are slighly seased, so i left that alone for now.. Took her to the Ace Cafe meet and met a few guys from here, got some attention there and parked right outside the door :),Happy days :) When i bought the car i really disliked the lights, i'm a fan of OEM+ so i started to source standard lights and bits, soon realised how rare parts were haha..but found a standard set of rear lights on ebay, won them for £8.50 ;) SOOOO much better!! Nearly happy with the back end now apart from the saggy exhaust :( So thats her so far..got standard headlight swap with a member on here happening on tuesday i hope..new wheels at players with another swap, and trying to source a OEM grill too :) Hope you all like her, don't see many white ones :)

Is it just fiddly if i don't take the dash out??

Hi :) So the heater matrix has given up the ghost guys :( Steam/smoke everywhere on setting 4 and on hot, steams up the whole car even with windows up and DRINKS coolant like its going out of fashion!!! So i'm picking up a new matrix tomorrow..im just seeing if anyone has any advice on what to do? I've searched and found the guide, and googled it and stuff, just wanted to see if anyone had any tips? :) Thanks Matt

Hi :) Selling these as i got my standard ones that i wanted :) Theres a chip/crack in the boot lid light thats on the passenger side.. Really not noticeable when on the car, doesn't let in water or condensate or anything like that? Because of the chip im asking £30 + p&p or pick up from Chatham, Kent. Or open to swaps for a badged grill ;) Thanks Matt
