OK so will fitting a K&N also reduce the bottom-end touque in the same way as de-sonrkling the box ?

I've got a K&N and it feels a little bit lazy when I floor it.

Of course it can rev off the clock, but that's not the point.

I'd prefer more bottom-end power.

All I basuically need is some part of the alarm that has the model number stamped on it.

This garage wants to see proff before they confirm which type is installed for my insurance company.

I've got the OE Logic alarm and it closes both the sunroof and windows automatically after I press the button

Anyone know where I can find the brain of the above to check the model/serial number ?

Basically because I don't have a certificate with my car I need a garage to verify which alarm I have - for insurance purposes.

Can I tear up the car and find this myself ?

Is there a siren in the engine-bay or something that might be visible ?

Nope, Nokia also make speakers... In fact, when the Corrado was launched, that was pretty much their core business! :shock: :lol:

 

Yeah Nokia (Finland) are a huge electronics company in their own right, but most poeple only know them for their Mobile phones, or Firewall hardware if you're an IT technician.

I made my own stealth shelf from MDF (for my Mazda MX-3) and bought carpet from sound shop and mounted

them from underneath so you can't see sh!t from the outside :twisted:

So I'll just cut that one down to size then.

Just bought a VR6 with (factory fitted) wih CONLOG written on the fob.

It's also got 4 prongs and you can stick it under the cubby-hole to manually over-ride it.

Does anyone know the actual make of this alarm and where I can get a spare fob from ?

And where's the best place to get a spare key - from a key-cutter or does it have to come from VW ?
