  1. Hi

Another daily here. Everyday use of Corrado, use car for school runs and work. I too have noticed that my corrado is fogging up quite badly. But hopefully have traced the cause. I have a rain water leak into cabin from behind the fusebox. Have done some investigation it's definately not the sunroof, Hoping it's a poor windscreen seal as screen needs to be replaced due to a nasty stone chip. Not going to call autoglass until the weather clears. Living in Wales don't tend to see many dry days.

  2. Hi All

As title says. After a complete set of exterior protective mouldings to fit passenger/driver side of my Corrado G60. When I purchased my car it had been cleaned(mouldings removed). Would like to refit them, car is a daily and don't want to run the risk of damaging panels.

And I actually prefer the look of door mouldings fitted (OEM look).

    Thanks

    Steve

  3. Hi All

One word WOW. Puts my (daily driver) Corrado to shame, and really sets a bench mark for any potential show stopper out there.

Also having seen the pictures of your car with the side protective mouldings in place, makes me realize how much nicer it looks(IMO).

My to do list is even bigger.

    Thanks for sharing

    Steve

  4. cut the shell up at the weekend and will be taking it to the scrap yard on saturday

all parts removed from car will try and post a list of everything i have left at the weekend

in the mean time get in touch with your part requests

    Hi

Do you still have the exhaust hangers? If so are they the bar type and how much posted for the three.

    Thanks

    Steve

    P.S.

If the sills are still in good condition then it might be worth your while carefully removing these for a future sale. These are a weak point on the raddo as i have found out cost me £100 for 1 delivered.

  5. Hi

Looked at a golf R line but the extra space, versatility and comfort of the Tiguan swung it for us(have two kids). The Golf R line was nice but a bit too much like what I already have, a hot hatch. The tiguan is totally standard, apart from some very nice factory extra's. Leather, satnav, Reverse park camera, Park assist, Winter pack etc. All other Tiguan R lines that I have seen on same model year or older, have same steering wheel. It looks like a Golf GTI wheel but with R line embossed in chrome badge. The newer ones have a three spoke wheel with chrome spokes. Too blingy for my liking.

  6. Hi

I don't really know about an Iphone5. Works well with my Apple ipod touch 4th generation and also an ipod nano 3rd generation(same connector). No major scuffs and has been working well in my Corrado for past 4 months(came with car). Display is clear and evenly lit, and all buttons' work positively. Motorized display is in good working order opens/closes smoothly. Main control button is in full working order. All in all a very well looked after stereo. Only selling due to me wanting to fit my old stereo from my old car(used to operating it).

  7. Best of luck on your search for a corrado. And if you still can't make your mind up ask about to see if there are any owners close to you that wouldn't mind givin you a go. My mate had a nugget yellow valver for 15 years and still regrets selling it! He prefferred it to my old g60 as it suited his driving style.

  8. Hi All

I have for sale (still fitted to my Corrado at moment) an alpine cd/ipod/mp3 player CDA 9851r and an Ipod interface unit kca 420i in full working order and with all leads/ carry case/ cage/ fascia trim etc. It is in very good condition and has minimal wear to buttons as can be seen in pictures. It is one of the motorized swing face alpine stereo's, it has full adjustment of bass/treble settings to include frequency adjustment and offset to get the best out of any speakers.

Want £85 for the stereo and ipod interface unit.

Would prefer local pick up but could package up for courier pick up (or post at buyers' expense)

  9. Buy neither.

I've just gone from a new to old car transition and not missing the creature comforts of a modern car. The Corrado feels soo much better in comparison to driving a newer car(audi a4 quattro tdi sport avant). Can't deny that the new Scirrocco and A5 models have more to offer(technology) than the 'standard' trim of a Corrado. But there's only more to go wrong! Seems to me that you already have a good value 'drivers' coupe in the 16V that has the potential to become a collectors car(good spec).

But if you do decide to change the raddo the Golf R or even better the Golf Pirelli edition would get my vote.
