  1. Hi All

Lookin for a genuine Corrado roof rack to use to fit my bikes on. Already have thule bike holders so don't really want a rear hatch fitting unit(and they damage paint). Would prefer the factory roof rack but pm me with what you got.

    Thanks

    Steve

  2. Mudflap's on a Corrado won't be looking for them in a hurry a bit like leopard skin seat cover's :pukeright:

Yep I had to think long and hard about disrupting the sweet lines of the raddo. You don't expect to see mudflaps on a coupe. But needs must, I have to use the car for winter months and hopefully muddies will keep most of the marks off doors and bumpers etc.

I didn't think they did sculptured flaps for the raddo? Most of the posts i have read suggest that they factory(quantum) mudflaps are a load of poo! The ones in the picture seem to be off another VW? The owner of car suggests they were off the front of another vw.

    Thanks for replies

Do they make leopard seat covers for recaro's? Do you think it might clash with the pink fluffy steering wheel cover i have?

  3. Hi All

It's that time of year when we either park up(lucky b***ers) our raddos or use during winter.

I'm in the latter category as mine's a daily so in preparation for the wintry months ahead I've been looking for genuine mud flaps for my raddo. Needle in haystack springs to mind but I did find this picture.

Any body know what model vw these are off or part number?

Really like the look suits the car IMO.

    Thanks

  4. Sorry to hear of another raddo going to the breaker yard in the sky. Is this the green VR6 on ebay that's for sale with a kaput engine? Very bad luck as it looks like a very nice car. If I hadn't have purchased my G60 I would have been very tempted by this.

Best of luck with sale you should get what you are asking for. If you are breaking the car then you might get a better result if you advertise it complete with all the electric looms and switches(heated seat switches) for seats as well as door cards.

  5. I may be in the minority here but I actually try to be as honest as I can when selling a car privately. And encourage potential buyers to ask me as many questions about my car as possible. And even try to point out any work that needs done. Hasn't failed me yet.

I had a bad experience selling the missus' mk2 F**d Fiesta ghia many years ago. The new owner left me a very nasty message on my answer phone due to her not being able to start the car and thus being late for work(later found out from her husband that she had never used a manual choke before and flooded the engine). Her husband was very apologetic though when I called them back!

  6. HI

Have you tested out the microswitch on the throttle actuating arm? On top of the inlet manifold? The bracket that its fixed to was bent away from actuating arm on mine car ticked over better and revs better since putting back in correct place. It should be made when on idle.

I had to adjust idle screw on mine when I put switch in correct position (at back of inlet manifold).

    Hope this helps

  7. Hi All

I have for sale a complete set of clear/red rear lights to fit all corrado's made by INPRO and in very good condition no damage. Removed from my G60, prefer standard look.

Looking for around the £80 mark+postage. Don't want to post but do have them boxed up and ready to go.

Would prefer local pick up from South Wales area.

  8. Hi all

As title says, i have coilovers at moment on my Corrado G60 and really don't like the ride quality, way to harsh for my old bones. Around where i live it's like speed bump city and no matter where i go can't avoid them:bonk:.

Don't want to put any old rubbish on tho would prefer Bilstein shocks and springs or Koni shocks and springs. (I know i'm being picky)

Please PM me with what you got for sale(and pictures if possible) and i'll get back to you.

    Thanks

    Steve
