Other | Bordoux Pearl | Worcestershire Price: £3200 Description: I am selling my 2.8 24v V6 Corrado (230BHP) It sits on colour coded Porsche Design 90 rims with polished lips, 16x9 on the rear and 16x8 on the front. The engine is from a 54 plate Bora 4 motion and has there abouts 70k on the engine, with its full stainless exhaust system it sounds great and runs great. The interior is full grey leather in good condition with heated front seats, sadly the passenger seat doesn't seem to work..The car is fitted with a Cat1 Toad alarm connected up to its central locking system. The bad points would be the body. Even though you will struggle to find rust on the body a few small dents and scuffs do let it down a bit, its just showing its age but still really does polish up well. The car has been well serviced every year even though I only do a couple of thousand miles a year in it. This is the sad reason for selling. It just isn't used enough to warrant keeping. There are a few bad points such as a dull patch on the bonnet where it looks like its been cleaned with some kind of abrasive cloth, the drivers seat is a bit worn and tatty, passenger door does not open from outside but I have the parts to repair this, small dent under the 'o' of the corrado badge. The car has got tax valid until April 2012 and mot until 11.2013, recently done: both track rod ends, both anti roll bar ball joints, brand new calliper and carrier on the back, new colin pack, ignition leads “champion” all 6 spark plugs NGK, there was an coolant leek from the radiator elbow but It has been fix it was the o-ring. No oil leeks or water from the engine. Engine and the gear box works lovely. Suspension is very comfie. Car is in original setup apart the wheels, I had original set of BBS Soilute for the car but some scamp stole them from my hallway before I unpack them  But the one that car is one are nice any way It is just me that I like to keep everything in original. Car has got aftermarket alarm remote control locks and immobilizer. Sony X CD stereo with 1GB memory card, sound nice. Bad points - Body work needs a little attention - High mileage 175k but v6 runs sweet, pulls really nice with the usual vr6 sound - Hater control panel need replacing - Leather seats and carpets needs cleaning, I was going to do that in May. Absolutely everything was taken apart, cleaned, painted or powdercoated and put back together. I sourced 80% of the fixings and fasteners from VW, the rest were either from the local iron monger of refinished original parts. Any fixings that I did replace were generally with S/S. The car has no rot or rust that I have discovered. The Engine was rolling roaded on the base map after over 1k miles run in (and 6 oil/filter changes) it produced 197BHP/210ft/lb, if Im reading the graph correctly. I have since removed the 3.5bar FPR and replaced with the standard 3bar as well as replacing the base map with a generic map from Bilal at SNS, which he said was an almost identical spec engine. I havent had the car on the rollers since though but it is certainly a vast improvement. Tracking and camber was done before the last track day (July 2012) Car currently has NO TAX OR MOT, however I am 100% positive it will fly through so I will put 12 months on for the buyer. Tax will have to be arranged by the buyer. Car can be transported at buyers expense. Bad points: Now Im being honest and probably over the top here -The respray, despite paying good money didnt turn out the greatest, there are some areas where it could do with work and the car was never fully flatted and polished. I think that if this was done properly it would come out very well BUT some areas still require attention IMHO. No sob stories but I got to my wicks end with the painter and took the car back rather than let him have it any longer (12+ months) -Headliner needs a joining strip around the sunroof opening -No doorcards present, I have made aluminium plates for the rear but have never fitted -Some marks from loading on trailer, I nicked a wheel and scratched a wing (low down on the stone chip) -Some bolts and nuts have come loose due to the engine mount combination; these however will be replaced and re-secured -Charger has covered approx. 20k miles, 17k on 68mm pulley, 2.5k on 65mm pulley, I have new apex seals, timing belt and kluber grease. Was planning on a rebuild myself, so have still to source bearings. Last rebuild was by G-werks in 2004 where they discovered and repaired some minor scroll damage. -Slight knock from rear hub, suspected bad bearing although it has only covered 2.5k, I may be wrong or paranoid though!? -Has a META System alarm, installed by a local company, works and locks remotely but needs un-immobilised manually everytime. Will hopefully have this diagnosed by the fitting company. Looking for £5500 ONO Will consider breaking if there is no luck selling as a whole car but I will place an advert when that time comes, so please no vultures just now. VR6 | Blackberry | Dorset (Poole) Price: £1800 Description: After 10 years of reliable ownership I am selling my 1994 Corrado VR6 124,000 miles MOT - 17/11/13 The Good - Sunroof and Spoiler work Heated Leather works Heater Matrix Replaced 100% Original & Standard Stacks of history, bills, old MOTs etc The Bad Likes a drink of oil (up to 2 litres per 1000 miles) Small leak into rear passenger footwell in heavy rain Passenger seat back does not fold forward Passenger window runner is broken (window still works, just noisy) Fan controls only work on speed 3 & 4. Heat controls ABS light is on The Ugly There are a lot of chips, scuffs and a couple of dinks / dents on the bodywork. But the paint is bright and the lacquer is good. Wheels are original and could do with a refurb soon Hopefully the photos will show thes points (please excuse the dirty car) It does need 2 front tyres and the VED expires at the end of Jan. If I get the asking price I will get 2 new decent (Avon ZV5 or similar) tyres fitted and 6 months VED ready for new owner. I'm only selling as I now have a family and a Passat estate! I spent 6 months looking for this VR6 after my previous G60 was shunted by a discovery. In summary it has been used daily for the last 10 years and has been reliable and well serviced. VR6 | Aqua Blue | West Yorkshire Price: £500 Description: Hello, I acquired a 1993 Aqua Blue VR6 last year, used it for several months before a heater return hose went on the MOT ramp. I since stopped using the car and have sold a few bits off of it. It is 90% complete, starts and drives. I even replaced the hose at fault. Refilled the coolant. It also had a new thermostat flange and a recent oil change (last 20 miles) It's currently sat on 15 inch Speedlines finished in an anthracite colour. The missing parts list is as follows; Heater controls Both headlamps + fogs Front splitter No interior, although it has the dash and front door cards and carpets. Everything else is intact and works as intended. The body is in fairly good shape too. The engines done about 166k and the gearbox was fine. It can start and even drive around (although fairly difficult with nowhere to sit) Its just sat in my garden at the moment and probably wouldn't take much to get it complete again. All panels are complete and both window motors and the rear spoiler motors are intact. I've not taken anything engine related off so it is all there. I could scrap it as a whole, but that would be a massive shame as I'd rather see it used or recommissioned. I could carry on breaking it but its a strenuous process and not always worth it. It would make a fantastic donor car, or even a donor engine for another project (clutch is all there etc) So just wondering if there is any interest, it would need transporting (though it drives) as it is currently SORN. Just in the process of swapping it back onto its original K plate. I will attach some photos when the snow goes, but if you imagine my avatar minus headlamps, thats pretty much it. Feel free to contact me if theres any questions! UPDATE: Had a lot of interest, a few no shows and another person who ended up not buying, the car is now in my unit. I have sourced some front seats for it, and just changed the leaky sump gasket. The car still runs & drives, it if it doesn't go soon I'll probably keep to restore. I've started giving the underside a refresh and have cleaned up the wish bones and painted them, checked the bushes etc. Ideally with my shaky circumstances at the moment I'd rather it still go to a good home so if anybody is seriously interested then get in touch. 1991 G60 converted to 20vt using skoda ARX engine. Qpeng engine management with Qpeng downpipe. Power flow custom stainless exhaust. Engine is on around 100k and had standard internals. Has has cambelt, water pump, spark plugs and coil packs all done. Only changes to the engine are forge dump valve, silicone intake hose, cone air filter, custom metal boost pipes and golf rallye intercooler. Mapped to 250bhp. Interior has audi TT black leather front seats and corrado black leather rear seats. Audi TT gear knob, boot and carbon surround. Alpine iPhone head unit, alpine components, alpine sub and amp set up in the boot. Defi style boost and oil pressure gauges. Chassis has team dynamics 17x7 black wheels with falken tyres (all good tread). Porsche four pot calipers with Ibiza Cupra 305mm discs up front. Mk4 rear calipers at the back. Polybushed rear axle, TT bushes in the front wishbones. Eibach anti roll bars front and rear with KW Variant 3 Coilovers. Exterior has been resprayed to mystic blue. This was not a full shell respray and as such there are parts of the original colour (red) when you peel back the carpets and what not. There is rust starting to come through on the arches as they have been rolled. The bonnet needs replacing at some point. All the lights are in excellent condition with the headlights being virtually brand new. All the electrics work although the sunroof rarely gets used and will need greasing. All in all the car goes, stops and steers very well. The bodywork is not show standard, but is not beyond repair I think. Unfortunately the car doesn't get used as much as it should because it doesn't fit my needs now. I really want to see it sold rather than parted, but I fear it might come to that. So lets say £3300 if you want to haggle, £3000 if you don't want to haggle. 2.0 16v | Flash red | Walsal Price: £1400 Description: hi all this is something i really dont want to do but i really have no choice now as my golf needs to go back on the road. where to start, well for sale is my corrado 9a 16v ive only owned this car for a few months as i brought it so i could sort my golf out but things have all changed now :( on the whole the rado is a very straight car no nasty dents or deep scratches, underside is solid from what ive seen and felt when ive looked under her. There are a nice few suttle mods that have been done to the rado nothing over the top so to speak. Rear spoiler works when driving and with the button no problem. mods are: team henko wind deflectors cat back stainless exhaust (think its scorpion off the top of my head) lowered on shocks and springs golf mk2 16v inlet manifold tinted lights all round head light eye brow after market stearing wheel and boss, wheel is a personal one i think push button engine start clifford alarm lupo gti wiper arms and new blades not fitted yet pannel filter kr cams not fitted but can come with the car tho there are some bad points as you would expect the sunroof will only tilt not slid. MPG doesnt work on the clocks and reads 99.9 all the time never bothered me. horn needs wiring into button on the steering wheel. Rust on all 4 arches was going to get this sorted but no time now. Its had a respray at somepoint and theres over spray on the boot lifters and little bit on wing mirror glass but not bad. the shell has done 190,000 miles but engine has done around 140,000. Front spliter is cracked but ive got a spare to go with the car if price is right, same with the drivers door as its rusty at the bottom but ive got a spare door to go with car at the right price. Rust on drivers side rear window around the seal at where it goes into a point. The main down fall is i had the core plug go on me but ive had it replaced but the garage told me they think the head gasket might of gone im picking the rado up in the morning to see how it is and there not pulling a fast one on me. Saying this tho in with the sale ive got a mk3 vr6 engine, gear box, ecu, wiring loom, rad and fans with slam pannel, gear linkage, sub frame, abs pump, clutch cylinder, engine mounts and auxiliarys. engine has done 88,000 miles but i cant prove this tho it came out of a running car and pulled really well. think that is everything here are a few pics of the car at different points i can take more if people want me to these are the wheels it will come with, pics on the multi coloured bbs rz are to show the tinted lights and final pic to show on my rs reps. 2.0 16v | Pearl Green | Pembrokeshire Price: £800(low milage) Description: For sale as an easy project. I bought this car nearly 12 months ago as a project for myself, but in the mean time ended up buying a VR6 so this car ended up on the back burner. Its low milage at 89945 genuine miles and has been well looked after with a folder full of mostly main dealer reciepts and many other reciepts from various other places. This is being sold as an easy project as it needs a small amount of work, but would easily fly through an MOT, its very clean condition but just need finishing off. It would take an afternoon to get it ready for MOT and if anyone is seriously interesed then I will put 12 months MOT on included in the price, allowing that I have the time to do so. The car was parked in a garage for 2 years before I bought it and hadnt moved, so I replaced all the brakes, fluids, a couple of sensors etc to make sure it was reliable again, It starts up first turn of the key everytime and the engine is really smooth. The alloy wheels are not included in the sale! Good points: 1) All electrics work, sunroof(new), windows, central locking, electric wing mirrors etc. 2) All new brakes all round and MK4 rear caliper upgrade 3) Original paintwork, glass and very good condition exhaust 4)The underside of the car is very clean with no rot atall 5)Good bodywork with minor rust 6)VR6 leather steering wheel 7) 90mm lower spoiler lip 8) K&N panel filter 9)loads of recipts and £300+ spent in the last few months Bad points: 1) Inpro headlights with stone chip to the drivers side lens 2) both front wings could do with a respray as the drivers side has rust patches, and the passenger side has scratches (quoted £250 to have sprayed up) 3) The exhaust oxygen sensor is faulty, but I have working second hand one included in the sale 4) Interior could do with a clean but far from mucky 5) Small cigarette burn to passenger seat (repairable) 6) small dent on bonnet where it looks like someone closed it with tools left underneath (nothing major) 7) air box has been drilled to give a louder exhaust note (actually sound pretty good) 8 ) Ignition has a different key from the doors/boot, all locks use the same key though including the boot. The car has been lowered and performs well, but being this low is not to everyones taste. There are many more good point, and I would recommend viewing it. VR6 | Aqua Blue | Eastbourne Price: £3250 Description: Hi all Thinking of selling my 95 VR6 in Aqua Blue. I've had it for about 10 years since 67K - it now has 102K miles on it. Chains, top end rebuild, 263 Schimmel cams, lightened flywheel and a remap have all been done on the car - so the engine is super smooth. It also has had recent new brakes, and recent new tyres. Over time it has had a polished throttle body fitted, a K&N panel filter, Koni top adjustable shocks with H&R springs and Eibach anti-roll bars - plus the more common headlamp loom and wipers upgrade, clear side repeaters and is fittled with solitude alloys. Perhaps the best bit is the cream electrically adjustable and heated leather recaros which sit perfectly with the blue bodywork. Electrics all work although the sunroof can be temparamental, spoiler works as should, remote locking no longer used. Bodywork - the car is solid and looks good but some of the lacquer is lifting in isolated places - but is not hiding rust - aside from that looks presentable and drives beautifully. It has short tax and MOT - however, I will be getting a new MOT shortly, so it will have a full year. 2.0 16v | Red | Leamington Spa Price: £1500 Description: Hi Guys (and gals), Have found a BMW I really wanna buy! I bought the Rado in 2009 and have had a lot of fun, proud moments, still love it to pieces hence the price. I know it's old and has done a few miles but there's a lot of life in it still and the bodywork is awesome. The red had turned to pink and I had a detailer give her a once over last summer - the photos were taken right after this was done (August 2012). I know there are other Corrado's around at a lower price but this is rust free, both underneath and the bodywork. And apart from the wheels it's standard. Since I took ownership there's been a bit of work (to be expected with a 21 year old) ;) I'll keep adding to this list as I look through receipts. Mot till August 2013. It's a crossover car as well, I haven't seen another like this... Late exterior but early interior.
