Once restored back to condition I will hit a few of the shows with her. Could probably do with a few of your pointers and info youve found out while restoring yours, first one would be the leather match, where did you find it and if you dont mind me asking how much?

Pop open the boot and have a look at the sticker on the rear panel... should see a 4 digit code and from this we can tell you the paint :) Should look something like LK4Z or something...

Have previously owned a sherry pearl and a flash red Rado.

Mine is Flash Red. And it is from July 1991. so your list is not correct. It means that Flash Red LP3G was also sold in 1991.

Out of interested, would anyone describe Sherry Pearl as 'limited edition'? Seen a VR (no intention of buying by the way) on eBay, being described as ltd edition. When asked what made it 'ltd edition', the seller responded with "it's the sherry pearl paint that's ltd edition".

I saw that one. It's certainly not limited edition per-say, but it's not one of the common colours either. Looks like the seller is just attempting to grab attention. Can't blame him for trying.

He didn't mention in the ad, but he did confirm the sunroof doesn't work either!! lol.

Bodywork looks quite nice and tidy though.
