kerrinmay 0 Posted October 27, 2004 The side rubbing strip on the drivers side front wing is sort of drooping and I believe they are stuck on with some kind of adhesive. If I pull it off (should I pull it off?) what can I use to stick it back on with? Or will I need to buy a new one from the dealer (if they still do them)? Kevin Bacon 5 Posted October 27, 2004 The "Exterior Trim repair tape" from Halfords is the exact thickness and width required :wink: The mounting surfaces need to be clinically clean and warm if the tape is to do it's job properly - otherwise Droop city for you again a month later! You especially notice the difference when you've done just one side- you'll realise just how ugly they actually are. As others have said use hot water + heat gun/hairdryer :) .
