Dixxy 0 Posted March 31, 2005 If you think it'll add some poke then i'll deal with the noise. A good friend owns a Audi UR quatro... now theres a unique sound - lovely
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted March 31, 2005 Aye, that 5 pot certainly howls! As for the mods, get your engine health checked first before draining the wallet. It would be good to know a healthy engine is receiving the mods as opposed to a tired one. As an idea, when I bought mine 2 years ago, it put out a whopping 173 bhp on Stealth's rolling road. It turned out to be a £30 cam sensor that was dead and after replacing it the power rose to 200bhp with 193 lb/ft torque.....from a standard engine....so knowing the engine was good, I knew it would respond well to mods....and it did. flusted 0 Posted April 1, 2005 I thought mine was goin well till i got it to the rollors,it made 120bhp due to a sheared woodruff key on the cam wheel! 1 hour later,162bhp!

CazzaVR 0 Posted April 1, 2005 Don't bother with the de-cat- doesn't gain anything on the VR. I'd start off with the breathing- get yourself a cold air intake. The BMC CDA is probably the best quality and will give you a good gain of 5-10bhp.
