You need to tell a few white lies to get cheap insurance, i used to say i was a clerk and not a student - seems to make them happier

I still pay £1285 + the 8% credit charge for paying in installments and thats for a 2.0l 16v, 3 years no claims no points, VR6? no chance soon!

i dont think thats true, im totally honest about my car (well seeing as its standard...) my insurance sint too bad on a g60, fully comp is about 700 a year 3ncb. having said that i've been suffering with a 1.1 peugeot for nearly 4 years so i think i deserve my rado :D

and i guess living in a quiet area helps alot too, i know that my friend from manc has hjorirble insurance but since he moved into uni halls it dropped nearly £200!

I've just had a quote for under £500 with the AA, including protected discount, a total write off last year and 3 points, with exhaust and lowing declared. My best (worst) quote for my old 2.0l valver was in excess of £4000 from Zurich. Laugh? M'laud I nearly died.

Last year I paid just under £1000 for the vr6, at the age of 23.

Waiting for the infamous 25 year-old insurance drop... Could just be a rumour though...
