Rob_B 0 Posted May 10, 2005 how hard is it to change the cambelt and tensioner on a g60 compared to a standard 8v engine? will any garage be able to do it or is it more specialist than that? does anyone the rough price of the cambelt and tensioner change on a g60? cheers, Rob
h100vw 0 Posted May 10, 2005 It's only the same job except for the drive belt for the charger. In the right facilities you could do it in 2-3 hours easy. Gavin

Tempest 0 Posted May 10, 2005 Only difference I spotted is the spanner to hold the tensioner pulley, on standard 8Vs (as in my 2 Roccos) this is simply an open-ended spanner, on my PG it's a pulley with 2 holes in it for a special key to be inserted into. Supercharged 2 Posted May 10, 2005 on my PG it's a pulley with 2 holes in it for a special key to be inserted into. Or some circlip pliers...
