Quick fuse query

In reference to my post about my flip out screen, i was told i would need to give the head unit its own power supply from the battery and give it its own earths, how thick does the wire for the power(battery to head unit) have to be and will it need a fuse, the stereo fuse is 20A will this be the rating of the one i need to use.

if the fuse is 20A you need some cable rated ABOVE 20A so that the fuse can do it's job...
