-Neil- 0 Posted August 8, 2005 just realised my alloys that came on my C have 5mm spacers, and the alloys are 40, thus making them offset 35. Any problems with running them without the spacers? and whats the propper offset for my C? Its a K reg 2ltr 16v. And yes i did a search, not found my asnwers exactly. coullstar 0 Posted August 8, 2005 What width are they? Should be fine but the wheels will sit further in the arches. No probs with spacers as long as you use the longer bolts.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted August 8, 2005 Offset for the 16V is 35, hence the spacers! 40 might catch on the inner arch if they're 7.5J or bigger width....
-Neil- 0 Posted August 8, 2005 They are fine on the inner arches etc, they are closer to the calipers tho, and my brake pads are in need of a change, i have a feeling once i put new pads in they'll foul the alloys, could this the problem with the spacers? coullstar 0 Posted August 8, 2005 Maybe why the spacers are there. Theres nowt wrong with spacers if used properly.
-Neil- 0 Posted August 9, 2005 How low can i go then, with 7.5J wheels, i mean with then offset number(to the outside arch of the car)?
