It's been regulary serviced and has a nice History section on the book :) As ive.. well my girlfriend.. has just taken ownership of it, i think its due for a bloody good servicing. As in more of a MK4 polo guy, could you guys post a sort of list of things that will need doing and what needs buying so I can get it sorted by a mechanic mate. vr6storm 0 Posted August 18, 2003 well if it was mine i would get the following done(unless there was documented evidence of this being done prior to you buying) Timing belt(Very important and only use a genuine VW belt), Oil and Filter change,(genuine VW filter too) new spark plugs, new fuel filter, new air filter, coolant change.
