ardandy 0 Posted March 15, 2006 Out of all these, which would you go for. I'm getting a new tailpipe done on sat as mines just rust! http://www.powerflowexhausts.net/products.cfm I like these. What do you think?
Phil K 0 Posted March 15, 2006 Top... if it's slash cut - looks a lot like mine in fact 8) The round ones won't fit the bumper cut out properly IMO! my s/s system is powerflow and was fitted by Top Gear Performance in Blazintoke!
iow_corrado_g60 0 Posted March 15, 2006 i live the more oval letter bix style like on mine

khurrado 0 Posted March 16, 2006 ardandy, Are you "Ard" enough for a powerflow???? LOL TBH they're too loud, and the workmanship was poor(Top gear). Ive had countless problems with it. IMO there are much better ones out there. Good luck, anything qould beat the VAG exhaust. Regards.
Phil K 0 Posted March 16, 2006 Mine is a bit loud but the quality and fit is spot on 8) I can live with the noise as it's only a w/e car - would be too loud for everyday though... they can make them quiet too after all it's custom so it's up to you how it is at the end of the day! biggrim 0 Posted March 16, 2006 Top one for me matey. Not that different from my supersprint exhaust and suits the rear of the C perfectly.
ardandy 0 Posted March 16, 2006 I'm only getting the tailpipe done, not the whole exhaust or even cat back, so the sound shouldn't really change.
cymru-corrado 0 Posted March 16, 2006 second one imo like the slight angle on it. although either oval would suit the Corrado.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted March 16, 2006 The best tailpipe I've seen is the Powerflow letter box, fits the bumper profile perfectly....but of the selection pictured, I'd go with the oval fella...
saysomestuff 0 Posted March 16, 2006 delete the cutout like Jay's - looks awesome, really modernises the rear
khurrado 0 Posted March 16, 2006 delete the cutout? What do you mean smooth it over, and conceal the exhaust?
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted March 16, 2006 Yep, MK4 down piper stylee....
saysomestuff 0 Posted March 17, 2006 Yep, MK4 down piper stylee.... Yep, tis true, brings the car smack into this century
selbekk 0 Posted March 20, 2006 how would you do that though? would you need a bumper number two, and cut out a piece of that, and then bond and smooth that in there? is it a diy job? If not, how many hours of work for a professional? and where do you get the down-style pipe back box?
Blinky16v 0 Posted March 20, 2006 Nahhhhh the C looks spot on with a phat tail pipe sticking out. If you've got it, flaunt it!!
