Kevin Bacon 5 Posted April 24, 2006 At £2.42 a litre (£10.98 p/gallon), thanks but no thanks.... £165 per tank, LOL!
Andy665 0 Posted April 24, 2006 Reckon it will be popular with the Corsa / Saxo boys, when combined with blue LED washer jets and a bean can its bound to give them another 50BHP
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted April 24, 2006 I notice BP's claims of extra power only came about from whacking up the ignition advance and turbo boost! The same could be achieved with 30 mins on a dyno and a £5 can of octane boost. It's just a laughable price for such a small octane boost over Shell V power. double-6s 0 Posted April 24, 2006 How much!!!!! No sh*t sherlock by the way - you turn up the boost and get more power!! Really??? ;)

Yandards 0 Posted April 24, 2006 Crikey! I was upset paying over a pound a litre for optimax yesterday let alone over 2 quid a litre!! Little point to it unless you are going to always use it and get your timing advanced to make use of the higher octane.

stingman123 0 Posted April 24, 2006 At the rate we're going it won't be long before we're paying that for standard 95 RON
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted April 24, 2006 what octane is shell v power..? 100, but Shell haven't launched it over here yet, not nationally at least. Tesco 99 is the best we've got in the meantime.
Trig 0 Posted April 24, 2006 I'm not paying over £2 a litre for anything thanks very much! Cider is cheaper than that!

Wouldn't it make sense to get the car set-uo to run on the fuel you'll be putting in it all the time?
