kongo127 0 Posted May 1, 2006 Since i bought this Corrado, and from the first day i saw it, it seemed a little more lowered on the rear than on the front. I always thought that the shocks and springs were crappy or even not placed in the right way. This saturday i swapped the complete suspension system from my old Corrado which are
gaz the geezer 0 Posted May 1, 2006 i had eibach springs all round and had the same effect, i personally dont know of any kits that give a more even ride height but i`m sure someone soon will, i just ditched mine for a set of coilovers :thumbleft:
_Monkey 0 Posted May 1, 2006 You can get lowering caps for the front suspension that are supposed to lower the front by an extra 15mm, never used them though, like gaz said I prefer to go for coilovers. Think JOM and Bonrath do them.

ben16v 0 Posted May 1, 2006 kongo127, no worries! could you do a fitting guide for them when you get em?
kongo127 0 Posted May 1, 2006 Sure, of course! I´ll take some pictures aswell. I´m going for the 15mm ones, i think they´re the closest match. And they are recomended in their website up to 1995 Corrados.

kongo127 0 Posted May 1, 2006 Yes, i believe that´s the job. The suspension will get more inside the tower. It´s the only way to get it lowered with these. I ordered from VenonMotorsport, but they don´t have the overseas option. I have emailed them, soon i´ll know about it...

StuartFZR400 0 Posted May 3, 2006 interesting thread. Mine feels as if its pointing at teh sky ever since I put the standard springs back on; as I suspected the front was -40 while the back was -35mm. Only 5mm difference, maybe it was 25 at the back. Does anyone know how well these caps work and if there are any possible problems??? ps --> How many post 1995 G60/VR6/16v's were there??? , as your Venom site says... Part ID: 20716-S Lowering spring caps. Replace the standard factory caps on front suspension struts. Easy fit to top of spring. 10mm Drop VW Corrado G60 / 16V / VR6 Year: After Sep 1995.
