Zender Supercharger? Anyone shine some light on them?

Hi there guys seen a vr6 with a zender supercharger on sale, but i don't know nothing about zender or there chargers? Does anyone ? Any good ?Compared to vortech are they similar or what ?

 

If someone has some information it could you please let me know.

I thought Zender do body kits?

The Zender name is at the same level as AC Schnitzer is to BMW - it's good!

If they did do chargers I'd imagine they would be good but don't take my word for it

Not as good as Hartge though....imo...;-)

 

Anyway, yes Zender are stylists, they don't do chargers.

 

He must mean Z-Engineering as mentioned already.

True, but Hartge just throw a V8 into everything, which is obviously a good idea. AC Schnitzer have become a bit chavy although their race cars are pretty awesome!

Or a V10 :-) I read about their V8 1 series, or was it the M5 lump into a 3 series? Can't remember, but the engine was only running 3/4 of it's available power cause they couldn't sort the wiring out..... good value that for £100 odd thousand, LOL!

Let's just say, Hartge are more 'upmarket' (and more expesnive) than AC ;-)

Z Engineering were the pioneers of charging the VR6. It is because of them the Vortech kits exist.

 

The ZR2 charger is the one to get.

there charger is 1165 :| is that quite cheap or what ? Wonder if they ship to the uk.

That's not particularly cheap and remember thats just for the actual supercharger. You still need all the other bits to make it work ££££

idler pulley/s, alternator bracket, spacer, s/c mounting bracket, hoses, clamps, bolts, belt, software etc. Some of the prices are on the mcracing website. If you piece it together separately you'll spend a fortune.
