Bottom ball joint adjustments

when replacing my bottom ball joints im not sure how they should be positioned, either all the way in, or all the way out. It not always easy to put them back in exactly the same place as they were before.

 

If anyone can give me a link or tell me how they should be it'd be great!

Do you have such a big gap while placing them?

 

I guess that you may place them anyway, just apply the same strategy to both.

 

After job done, take the car to a 4 all wheel alignment, and camber will be corrected, as all other parameters.

As kongo says, just try to get it how it was before then take it for alignment mate.

Wasnt there some previous posts about what position to tighten the balljoints up in?

I've used the search and can't find them..........

The metal should be clean on the wishbone where the BJ mounted before, but id in doubt, set them half way.
