Try the Idle Stabalisation Valve or ISV it sits on top of your cam cover near your throttle body. Give it a clean out if its dirty with some Carb Cleaner or it maybe knackered???

Yeah first time everytime then she dies??

lookin like it could actually be the £125 pound lift pump!!!!

Am i right in thinking this is the only fuel pump on a g60??

I'd check the ISV as well as the fuel pumps. When mine started cutting out, it was actually one of the wires to the ISV which had come into contact with the head, and burnt through.

on the early cars there are 2 pumps. 1 in the tank and 1 under the car (like the mk2)

on the later cars there is only 1 combined pump in the tank.
