volkswag0nvr6 0 Posted December 6, 2006 have just brought my first G60 on sat and she needs a bit of work doing! the gasket on the manifold has gone so i thought i might as well fit a 4 into 1.. is this worth doing on the G60? and how easy is it to change on these would i need to get it up on the ramp or could i do it on my drive? thanks in advance lee
Shaggy 0 Posted December 6, 2006 I would say it it worth doing yeah, especially if you plan to flow the head and add a cam later on... The G-werks Manifolds work well, i have one on my car.. very happy with it.. You could also try the supersprint manifolds... although these have a smaller diameter header.. http://www.g-werks.co.uk/Products_Exhausts/Default.aspx
Crasher 3 Posted December 6, 2006 The Supersprint only fits left hand drive properly and can let air in that freaks out the lambda sensor.
Henny 0 Posted December 7, 2006 G-Werks one (yeah, I know I'm starting to sound like a stuck record, but his stuff IS good! ) is deffo worth it... it's on my shopping list if I can get hold of some money... 8)

lamwagon 0 Posted December 7, 2006 iam bout to buy a g works one when they arrive, looked at others but this 1 just stands out, cant wait lol
Henny 0 Posted December 8, 2006 changing the manifold is a bit of a tricky job unless you've got the head off (then it's easy!) so £110 isn't over the top IMHO.... 8)
kongo127 0 Posted December 9, 2006 This is my 2nd G60 and i noticed that there´s a very small crack on the exhaust manifold like on the previous one. Is this a common failure? Why do they appear? Can they be welded? Yeah... It´s leaking...
_leon_ 0 Posted December 9, 2006 could be due to knackered rear engine mounts? will increase the rocking motion that'll help it crack
