CAT sheild, can i remove it, or shall i de-cat?

a bit of patience is required, oh sod, it a big crowbar and some brute force, and it will some be off :lol:

NOt wishing to state the bleedin' obvious, but if your cat shield is knackered and scratched, removing it will just spell the certain doom of your cat.

 

And if you need one for an MOT, they're expensive....

If you do loose the sheild, You might wnat to be creful parking in long grass in the summer. Could start a nice little VR6 BBQ.

i may try and get it removed at a garage, going to be so hard to do it on my drive!

 

 

But why are all garages about a foot higher then the road, so u have to go up a steep concreet ramp to get in!

Mine used to catch all the time.

Just let it catch on the road till it eventually falls off ;)

 

Only messin!

Mine did break on one of the retaining bolts but the other 3 bolts came off fine. I haven't had a problem since it was taken off and now I don't scrape a thing!

Are you talking about any garage in particular? :wink:

It will go in on the lefthandside pit if you want to bring it up sometime unless youve allready done it.
