YEP MY CAR IS IDLEING HIGH BEEN INTO VW SPENT £500 ON PARTS AND NEW PIPES THE ONLY TWO PARTS THAT I HAVE NOT CHANGED ARE THESE TWO VW DID NOT FIX MY PROBLEM SO I AM AT A LOOSE END!!!

Have you adjusted the idle screw? Try cleaning the throttle body and the metering head with carb cleaner to prevent sticking...

I have done all these things and it has all been set by VW

sounds like a basic set up prob, maybe idle switch on the tb

When i had the car back from vw the car was fine for 2 days then it went back to idleing high?

could be sticky cable, sticky tb switch...maybe the c/o is going out of ajustment

Nah - don't think removing the caps lock will sort the idle but good suggestion anyway Mr Wales...

:lol: - Well, technical solutions aren't my forte as you well know!

 

Maybe try checking the CO pot, I had a G60 that was running rough and it turned out to be that, it's pretty easy to adjust.
