Looking to get myself a set of OEM recaros, now im not sure if there is any differences between 1's found in corrado's, golfs that may have had them or rallye's?

 

I know about the subframe issues if they dont originate from a corado.

 

Do they all come electric as standard as i don't want a set of these i would and do like the manual adjustment?

Corrado Recaro's have smaller bolsters than the Golf Recaro's

Rallye ones have electric back tilt only, the rest is manual - no idea what colours they came in.

 

Corrado ones have electric back and uh base up and down and manual slide back and forwards - came in black, grey or cream leather or black cloth with slightly contrasting black squares pattern, dark grey with a red vertical stripe or lighter grey diagonal pattern with light blue stripes in it.

 

I should really be geeky and collate photos of the cloth Corrado Recaro seats...

rallye ones are elec height ajust only , and only came in black leather with cloth centers, they fetch top $$ and are pretty as they were only a option on rallyes

Bah - 50/50 chance and I got it wrong.

 

Seems like a bit of a waste of time if it's electric height only - but I guess it's cool to say you've got electric seats :lol:

elec seats are a bit daft really...alot of extra weight and its not like you zoom the seats up n down or tilt them all the time

 

heated would have been a better more useable option

Is there not any that are full munual, no electric no heated.

Not that came from a Rallye or Corrado.

 

Misc Fords had them in though, so you might be able to transplant one of those. You'd almost certainly need to fudge the subframes to get them to fit tho.

Just needed to add, i take it all back electric and heated are the future.
