Met Colin both at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and at the Castle Combe rally days. Really nice bloke, incredible talent.

Seems all our world champion rally drivers (Clarke, Pond, Burns, McCrae) have all been taken from us earlier than they should have been.

 

What a tragedy.

Still lived where he grew up, which I though was testimony to the bloke.

 

Unlike so many other sportspeople or famous Scots that live 'abroad' for tax reasons.

Can't believe your lack off respect, why bother commenting at all, it would be easier just to say nothing which is what you should have done...... I never knew him myself obviously, but I still feel sad for his loss of life and his wife and child that he has left behind. Ask yourself how you would feel if someone said this about your loved ones?
