Andy665 0 Posted October 19, 2008 Apparently the Stewards have discovered that Lewis Hamilton is wearing beige underpants for the race, as this contravenes Rule 158, subsection 167, sub subsection 23, clause 23.9 he will be subject to a drive through penalty. As the news of the wrong underpants being worn has been found to give him a performance advantage over the Ferraris and no other car it has also been agreed that Massa will be awarded an extra point. ZippyVR6 0 Posted October 19, 2008 But Alonso is allowed to wear womens panties?
Sonicriot13 0 Posted October 19, 2008 That's excellent news! :D Has Hamilton got a copy of the rule book? Sheesh, even I knew about that underpants thing.
Sonicriot13 0 Posted October 19, 2008 But Alonso is allowed to wear womens panties? That's because he drives like a girl. Thus adhering to rule number 69853, subsection 16523, clause 81.236a.

Critical_Mass 10 Posted October 19, 2008 Give it another season or 2 and Ferrari will be getting extra points for Mclaren turning up to the races

Yandards 0 Posted October 20, 2008 John, nice picture of the legend that was James Hunt.
corozin 0 Posted October 20, 2008 I agree - that picture encapsulates James Hunt perfectly. Race driver, tab smoker, glitzy bird puller. What a life that man led :)
Sean_Jaymo 0 Posted October 20, 2008 I'm sure if Hamilton had shown some allegiance to Ferrari by wearing red under crackers he would have simply had the points removed without having to undergo the embarrassment of a drive-thro! Did anybody see the the pre-race interview with Bourdais regarding the penalty he received after his incident with Massa? He was asked if there was anything he could of done further to avoid the incident with Massa (bar getting all 4 wheels over the kerb). His response was "Yes, I could have pulled over and laid out a red carpet for him to drive on" Sheer genius of a reaction! We need more drivers who are prepared to speak their minds! corozin 0 Posted October 20, 2008 Well yes you're absolutely right. The stewards this year seem to have been enforcing an invisible rule of drivers "impeding Ferrari's God-given right to win". There's an interesting article on Planet F1 at the moment, which catalogues the stewards decisions this year. If Hamilton hadn't received his various penalties he would have been 22 points ahead before the Japanese GP, and would probably have tied up the Championship as far back as August... Thats why the Stewards felt the need to step in
