But...I like the idea of a nice straight unmolested example.

If the engine is in good condition i'll leave it alone.

Piston 4 fell to bits...luckily didn't damage much else. We just happened to have a G60 engine lying about so the engine has been swapped just got to pipe and wire it in tomorrow. Hopefully It'll be on the road tomorrow!! (still has some MOT and TAX left). Will do a build gallery in the next few days!

Don't say that,i'm paranoid about this car as it is.

Stated up with a few spins on the startert and idled really well.

Seriously considering road tax and MOT but I should really sell my Golf first.

Nice to hear it's running. I was gutted I just missed out on this and was annoyed for a few days but I managed to score a MKII GTI track Car for £500 last week so actually glad I didn't get this now.

 

Looking forward to seeing the progress.
