biggerbigneil 0 Posted February 14, 2005 Well done mate, sorry missed your call, family problems... it would have been a small bloody problem wouldn't it! glad it's firing on all cylinders! I'm still waiting to have a go - 3 years now!
biggerbigben 0 Posted February 20, 2005 Right time for an update... I have managed to get some of the dial wiring completed, this is probably the most boring part of the project but it needs to be done. Anyway I have got a few of the sensors connected but still have a lot to do... However they do look good in the dark...! 8)

samm_cvr6 0 Posted February 20, 2005 just had an idea- I think it's the Noble that has that really cool rev counter? It starts off blue and turns red as it nears the red line, very trick.
Henny 0 Posted February 20, 2005 yup, that's the new Noble... 8)
biggerbigben 0 Posted February 20, 2005 took a couple more pics.. Wiring is almost complete now! and I found my sunroof loom which was missing... its all about getting the brakes to bleed up next weekend! :(
samm_cvr6 0 Posted February 20, 2005 I do like the look there ben, quite futuristic, like some kind of space ship, brilliant!
24V Renshaw 0 Posted February 20, 2005 Looking good ben. 255L of fuel, should just about get us to Worthersee!! :)
chargedupstorm 0 Posted February 20, 2005 Those dials thru the steering wheel look good, shame you can't illuminate them a little more to match the Stac. Led's? Great progress btw... all you need now is a set of leather seats LOL ;-)
biggerbigben 0 Posted February 21, 2005 Jay, I wish the tank could hold 255L ! Would need a Petrol tanker to follow I think  Guy, I'm going to look into changing the color of the lower gauges. The bulbs are clear and the dial faces obviously have a green filter, therefore what bulbs are needed to make green turn to blue... is it red? Wasn't very good at physics when I was at school.. lol

NicKRE2000 0 Posted February 22, 2005 What an awesome project and car ! Just read the whole thread and you deserve big respect for having an idea, and having the balls to go through with it, and doing all the work yourself !
biggerbigben 0 Posted February 23, 2005 cheers guys much appreciated, still a bit to do but its getting there.... 2.5 weeks until it goes for mapping and I still have the brakes to sort, electrics to complete, remove and refit the engine for some minor mods etc etc so its panic stations! and only x2 weekends to do it... :cuckoo:
Phil K 0 Posted February 23, 2005  good luck with your mision! The more I read on this thread the more I can't wait to see the finished article 8)
biggerbigben 0 Posted February 26, 2005 The new member of the family.... After sitting down and having a one to one chat with my self I decided to bite the bullit, take a loan out and get a daily driver. The aim of the corrado project has taken a bit of a different direction over the last couple of years and has become less and less of a daily driver and more and more a track/show/summer weapon! Therefore a few months of looking I bought this this morning! Mk4 Golf Tdi 115bhp (for now  ) Black Full black leather Heated seats Electric and heated mirrors ABS/ESP etc Climate control Cruise control Head lamp washers Full dealer fitted ABT body kit (soon to go if anyones interested) + ABT 17x8 wheels (all for a reported £2.5k extra on new price apparently!) Alpine remote MP3/CD head unit chucked in for good measure... and this is the best bit - 33k genuine miles on the clock 8)
samm_cvr6 0 Posted February 26, 2005 nice one, I might have to get the 115tdi as a work run around, but did you compare it to the Focus 115TDCI?
mrbeige 0 Posted February 27, 2005 Keep the ABT kit on it - looks good and was dealer fitted, would probably be worth something extra in a few years 8)
biggerbigben 0 Posted February 27, 2005 nice one, I might have to get the 115tdi as a work run around, but did you compare it to the Focus 115TDCI? Didn't drive the focus, is it any good? I was really looking for a 130 tdi Golf but this one came up first so I grabbed it as it was a really good deal
