Help! - 288mm Carriers

Hi all,

Just been chucking all the 288mm parts onto my C, but I've hit a bit of a brick wall here.

 

Can anyone tell me if I have the wrong carriers and where I should go to get the right ones?

Are these 312mm Carriers? The discs are 288mm

to me they look like 312mm.

 

If you measure from the outside diameter of the disk to the top edge of the pad will give you how much difference there is. if its roughly 30mm, then you need 312mm discs

Argh, yeah looks like they are 312mm carriers :brickwall:

 

Sorry it's just one thing after another.

 

So my two options are:

312mm Discs

or

288mm Carriers

 

Which option is cheaper?..lol

Dont know which is cheaper mate but if someone can confirm 312 will fit under 16 inch steels I'll swap yeah for my 288 carriers for your 312 as not bought discs etc yet

I know a friend of mine has 312mms under his storm standard wheels, they're 16" aren't they?

standard speedlines are 15

 

just painted mine black!

 

Will have to paint them black too to match my callipers :lol:

Storm solitudes are 15" mate

 

312mms brakes need at least 16" wheels to fit

288mms fit snug under the 15" solitudes

That's just weird, he was telling me it definitely says 312mm conversion on one of his receipts?

 

He has the standard storm solitudes, is there any way at all they could fit?

If it's alright could you do next day delivery (if poss) and I will settle the difference for your postage, unless you want next day too. As you can see in the pic I have done a lot of work cleaning them up, your black paint should go on fine.
