lewvw 10 Posted April 4, 2011 Hey guys my front mount feels a little soggy on the vr, does anyone have any experience with a vibratechnics mount cus i'm told they're the best, I was thinking that if it was too harsh then it surely would transfer stress to other areas? Or should i go genuine for the same price possibly more?
tony_ack 0 Posted April 5, 2011 Been running one for 2 weeks now, with standard mounts at the rear and on the gearbox. The front feels nice an tight now, both when accelerating and through the corners - it's made a massive improvement to the feel of the car. I wouldn't say it was harsh at all - maybe a tiny tiny increase in vibration in the cabin? We just went to Wales and back last week though in the Corrado, and the missus didn't notice it was any less smooth, even though she drove most of the way. At £150 they're not exatly cheap, but if you need to replace it anyway, then it's a no-brainer
dragon green 5 Posted April 5, 2011 I have the competition front, fast road "side" and diesel mount gearbox ! As post above, far improved in the acceleration and the twisties, but as with anything, there is a trade off ! Vibration through the pedals (at start up) a little more cabin noise in traffic, but ...........it's well worth it ! Buy it.

MarkFoster 0 Posted April 5, 2011 Try C & R for supply - they have some great prices at the moment, particularly on the fast road front mount.
