dleng 10 Posted November 6, 2011 Hi, my Rado has been firing ok but needs a full service and probably new set of sparks. Is there a particular brand or type anyone would recommend for a standard unmolested 1989 1.8 16v car. Does it make any difference anyway??
Wild-Animal 0 Posted November 6, 2011 I cant remember what I put in mine but yeah it does make a difference, you might be ale to search for it. Don't spend over the odds on them, you are better spending not a huge amount on them. But change them every so often. I am sure there was a thread about spark plugs and how they can be a bit of a white elpephant
tony_ack 0 Posted November 7, 2011 I use standard Beru plugs from GSF for my MK2 Golf with the same engine, supposedly OEM quality.
cptkirk 10 Posted January 22, 2012 ive got some 4 electrode ones in mine...im surprised??...is this right??
seanl82 23 Posted January 22, 2012 I got triple NGKs from ECP for mine, less than 4 quid each even without discount. I don't see the the point in quad titanium element and all the rest of that crap! You'd never know the difference, and neither would your motor. Waste of money IMO.
