NEW ITEMS - VW Classic Parts - Bulk Buy

Hi all,

 

After discussions with the head of marketing at VW Classic Parts in Germany I am pleased to announce that the Marriott Motor Group will be the first VAG UK agent to be listed as a VW Classic/Audi Tradition Parts Importer :)

 

My original inquiry was in the light of the ridiculous markups which VW Heritage are putting on Classic Parts and also because I have an increasing amount of customers who cannot get parts for their Audi 80's, Coupes and A4's. Being a Corrado owner the problem also affects me as well ;)

 

The reality of making it work though is to have a minimum amount of £100 per order for lines that we don't hold in UK stock and this is due to the hefty courier charges that VW Germany add. Therefore, I thought the best way to get the best deal for people would be to bulk buy to get better value :) So hopefully here is the first of many! I am of course open to suggestions as to what you would like in the next ones.

 

The benefits for you will be;

 

- Average saving of 5-8% which in this case is achieved by being able to bulk buy the items and absorb the carriage costs.

- 2% of each Group Buy will be donated to the forum running costs. So you will actually be giving something back to the forum!

- The sadder fact, it could be your last chance to buy! The chrome VW rear emblems which I was planning to have as part of the first Group Buy have now finished for good :(

All items will be sent recorded delivery and include UK delivery (Highlands and other countries at extra cost).

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT ITEMS WILL BE SUPPLIED ON A FIRST BOUGHT, FIRST SERVED BASIS. I CAN GET MORE OF THESE ITEMS AT A LATER DATE BUT THEY WILL BE SLIGHTLY MORE EXPENSIVE DUE TO NOT BEING BOUGHT IN BULK.

The glovebox strip is a small piece of plastic which breaks when removed to access the glovebox screws. So many Corrado's have had glovebox removals for Alarm fitments and Heater Matrix's that many people do not even realise it is a missing part.

Hi mate, these prices include recorded postage? Of course if people buy more than one item (e.g. plinth and badge) it will work out cheaper for them. I'll try and work out some kind of postage calculator for this by the end of the day so people can work out reductions :)

Postage is already included in a single line price. The total cost can be reduced based on how many lines you buy due to cheaper postage cost.

 

2 lines = £2.00 reduction

3 lines= £3.00 reduction

Agreed. This is absolutely brilliant work by Neil, and all I can say is THANK GOD there are enthusiasts like him working within VW/Audi group - cause frankly Volkswagen themselves wouldn't have lifted a single finger to help make this happen, the useless sh!tes.
