mmacneill123 0 Posted May 8, 2012 One of those really embarrasing problems.....how do you get the top off the power sterring fluid resevoir (the little red cap!) ??? Mine seems unbelievably tight, waiting to break if i force it open. It is a 2L/9A engine...any hints etc would be appreciated!!

mmacneill123 0 Posted May 8, 2012 Cheers, thanks for that, will get the grips out.....just seem to remember reading somewhere that if the fluid seems to be getting low, the whole system needs to be checked, just topping up is not enough......hence the thought it might not be designed to come off :-)
VR6Pete 0 Posted May 8, 2012 Yeah they do go tight :) usually I get 2 flat sided objects, one each side of the grip on the cap to make it easier to unscrew...
Jim Bowen 1 Posted May 8, 2012 I put a Stanley blade each side of the bit on the cap, then use pilers, should spread the pressure and stop it breaking off. Sent from my X10i using Tapatalk
