Recommended Posts

Where are the best lifting points front and rear on a Corrado when using a trolley jack?

Photo's would be handy.

Lifting point is at the rear of the front wheel arch... there's a small pressed arrow on mine showing the exact point (which is just past the line of the door). If you're using a trolley jack you coudl do what I've done and get a block of would with a cut in groove so as not to risk damaging the paint / lip.

When using the jack point this lifts the whole side of the car so they dont have a rear one marked on the sill 8)

at the front, put it under the subframe, where the anti roll bar goes through.

at the rear, put it on the rear axle pivot, or immediatelty in front of it.

DON'T EVER JACK ON THE SILLS OR THE FLOORPAN. you'll bend it and scrape off the underseal.

Am I to assume axle stands should be placed under the subframe too. I'm changing my brakes tomorrow so any help is greatly received.

Cheers
