science 0 Posted January 1, 2013 Can anyone identify these, I'm guessing they are JOM or Vmaxx?

Jim Bowen 1 Posted January 7, 2013 i put the part number into google without the spaces and everything suggests V-maxx, they look like the ones on V-maxx site as well http://www.v-maxx.com/uk/products/coilover-kits/
Critical_Mass 10 Posted January 7, 2013 Def V-Maxx, dont fit them.. terrible ride. Unless you're only bothered about getting low.
OllieVR6 0 Posted January 7, 2013 They're not JOM...JOM have blue springs and I don't believe my collars are anodized.
StueyB 0 Posted January 7, 2013 Just to confuse the party, I've seen JOM brand coilovers for Mk2's/Corrado's etc with red springs. 9/10 they are V-Maxx eBay specials tho.
science 0 Posted January 7, 2013 Cheers all! That explains the ****e ride. I've messed about with the ride height a few times and can't seem to get it right. I couldn't even get a toe under the spoiler when I bought it. Lol
Stonejag 10 Posted January 8, 2013 In fairness cheap coilies work fine as a quick fix for a slammed car - I still have JOMs on from 18 months ago and the only irritation is a bit of a creaking noise when cornering hard. They're not a soft ride though! The spring coating comes off the JOM ones within 6 months so they'll be rust-coloured in no time :D Stone
science 0 Posted January 12, 2013 These have been on for over 3 years, theses little corrosion as I re-grease ever year, just alot of dirt, but I just can't seem to set the ride height without them being to harsh, time for some upgrades methinks.
