Clean VAG daily - needs a new head? (Devon)

Recommended Posts

valves will likely be bent, but you might be looking at just one valve and a gasket set which is only about 30-40 quid in total, will need a valve spring compressor to fix it. Not a fan of mk3's though, ugy mugs

I've owned a MK3 VR6 (didn't like the whale like handling after my eibach + koni MK2) and a TDi estate. Tidy ones are getting very rare now, if that's as nice in the flesh as it is in the pics its worth saving, Cheap as chips to run as a daily?

The oil cooler went on my old mk3 GTI 8v, causing HG failure etc. I replaced the entire engine for one of similar mileage to this for £85 delivered! New clutch and Lightened flywheel, cambelt, painted up and it was absolutely mint!
